MALCOLM MAKES AN OFFER TO HELP TEAM ARROW — Still operating without Oliver (Stephen Amell) and desperate to stop Brick (guest star Vinnie Jones), Team Arrow is forced to consider Malcolm’s (John Barrowman) offer to help shut Brick down as Malcolm has a personal score to settle with the felon. Roy (Colton Haynes) and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) point out that the team could use some help to save the innocents of The Glades, but Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) is adamantly against it. They look to Diggle to make the final decision. Meanwhile, the flashbacks chronicle Malcolm’s descent from kind-hearted father and husband to cold-blooded killer after the murder of his wife. Jesse Warn directed the episode written by Beth Schwartz & Brian Ford Sullivan.

one of the writers were asked about the Lazarus pit, he said he can't say anything but that there is a set of the Lazarus pit for the show, and then something about a picture of sara coming out of it

Laurel gtfoh! Give Diggle some respect. Use a brain Arrow writers and give this man a suit and mask to hide his identity.

Leave Laurel back at home and stop trying to shoehorn a horrible character down our throats.

I like watching the development that Laurel is taking. I'm glad that they aren't just saying, "Well she had training for two weeks with the Wildcat so she's a super hero now." She is taking her own hero's journey and getting her ass kicked. I could do without the crying every five minutes, but I have a feeling that she will use her role as the Canary to help cope with Sara's death.

@gmoney0505 - "Give Diggle some respect. Use a brain Arrow writers and give this man a suit and mask to hide his identity."

EXACTLY!! He actually has a family and identity to protect!! It makes more sense for him to have a mask and secret identity than anyone. And I can't stand when Oliver says Felicity and Diggle's names when he's out in the field.

Eventually, I hope there's a storyline where a villain or bad guy hears their names and tracks one or both of them down. There can't be that many people in Starling City with the name Felicity or Diggle. And given their work experience as a computer genius and a former military man turned bodyguard, they would standout if there actually are people with the same names. Not to mention, once they figure out who they are, it shouldn't take long to connect the dots that Diggle and Felicity are/were both employed by Oliver Queen.

"one of the writers were asked about the Lazarus pit, he said he can't say anything but that there is a set of the Lazarus pit for the show, and then something about a picture of sara coming out of it"

Considering Amell posted an image of a hand holding an arrow coming out of the Lazarus Pit on Facebook a day or two after the episode in which he was "killed" would lead one to believe it plays a role somewhere.

The dark knight rises on cw??!! Yea. A hero returning back to his city through trial and tribulation, having to leave a foreign land...everyone thought he was dead...oh wait...it's arrow lol

An all out battle where hundreds of citizens fight back against the criminals who've taken the city and the hero swoops in out of nowhere...yes the dark knight rises on cw...oh wait it's arrow lol

A burly, brawny, and all out physically imposing villain leads an army of criminals to t me over...hmmm the dark knight rises. This whole season is like the dark knight rises somewhat. hero returns from believing to be dead, a scantily clad female vigilante (Catwoman), the policeman who can't believe the hero is gone idk I love arrow but the batman cliches are killing me sometimes

@Doopie EXACTLY! To me it looks like a Gossip Girl with costumes... Everyone is nice looking and always, i mean ALWAYS everyone is wearing a suit or an elegant dress.. yeah ok "dark, gritty and realistic"

But still people call it "awesome" and "epic" oooook...

@ABetterTommorow have you? When bane asks the mercs to fire on the cops bats comes down with the Bat out of nowhere and intervenes letting everyone know he's returned... so.. wipe that ish off ya shoulder lol
GhostDog
GhostDog - 1/29/2015, 4:24 PM
@Batmaniac yes and no. I love it I've stuck by it since episode one but sometimes the copying is a little too much. It's all in good fun. It's just a tv show. Critiques come with the territory. yes bane did. The scene in the streets he said fire and batman interrupted by shooting out the gun on the tumbler

GhostDog - 1/29/2015, 4:26 PM
@Batmaniac there are things I absolutely love about the show: the fight choreography, the universe building, diggle, Flash back scenes, and merlin are among some

@RetroFit - "Laurel was waving that bo staff around like she was chasing a bat out of the kitchen with a broom."

That's a good thing! haha. I'm glad they're showing and treating her this way, so far. The folks in charge and even Roy last night have said the exact same things most of us were concerned with. How just because she wears the mask/suit, a superhero does not make. She should have major flaws and make mistakes, it shouldn't be easy for her starting out. I like that she knows it too, what she said about it being the message the Canary sends even if she can't do what Sara did. I would've liked her "quitting" to have lasted longer, maybe into next week's episode, but that's a small gripe.

@supes123

I hope it's true. And if they do bring Sara back, it would make more sense for why no one has told Lance about her death. That's just gone on for too long and really annoys me.

If they bring her back, I wonder whether she would be a series regular or if she'd continue to make occasional appearances. Maybe, so there aren't two Canaries on the show, Sara could be one-half of a Birds of Prey spin-off series.

@ImKennyPowers

What Laurel did to Capt Lance last night was horrible!
imkennypowers
imkennypowers - 1/29/2015, 5:03 PM
And I think the costume department needs to retire Roy's red hoodie, since Roy's Arsenal alter-ego wears a red hood. It reminds of the Power Rangers how the characters clothes were ALWAYS the same color as their Ranger suits. hahaha
FirstAvenger
FirstAvenger - 1/29/2015, 5:07 PM
They really need to reveal what happened to Oliver!
imkennypowers
imkennypowers - 1/29/2015, 5:11 PM
@FirstAvenger

Yeah that was just shitty and annoying. Why doesn't Laurel make a big deal about him being cop?? It doesn't compare to learning the death of your daughter for a second time, which they made clear of last night, but his job seems like the cause of lots of stress and anxiety which can't be good for his heart condition. And I'm no doctor, but if he has a heart condition I don't believe it's going to go away in the future if she eventually tells him. Not to mention, when he learns Sara was killed, it would be worse if he learns she died a while ago and everyone kept it a secret and lied to him about it.

Is this season 2 or season 3? Cause this sure as hell look like it's going in the direction of season 2 with the army of thugs taking over the city.

@Batmaniac yea but all those cops didnt know that. For them, that was his return. but hey semantics...it's no big deal
