Come Check Out Two New Extended Promos For ARROW Season 5 Episode 11: "Second Chances"
Arrow returned from its winter hiatus with one of the most predictable twists of all-time, and next week the team ramps up their search for a new Black Canary. Come check out two new extended promos now!
Ever since Laurel Lance showed up at the end of the Arrow midseason finale late last year, it was speculated by many that it wasn't actually the Black Canary we were seeing, but actually her Earth-2 doppelgänger, the Black Siren. Last night, our suspicions were confirmed when Earth-2 Laurel dropped the charade and revealed herself as another one of Prometheus' mind games.
According to Entertainment Weekly, there is still a chance the Black Siren (who was locked up rather quickly) redeems herself by season's end. Executive producer Marc Guggenheim didn't want to divulge much else, but did tease this: “The episode ends with laying a very specific seed with a very specific game plan on our part that we hope to see come to fruition.” What that means is anyone's guess, and next week, we'll see Team Arrow try to honor the original Laurel's last wishes by beginning their search for a new hero to take on the Black Canary mantle.
Check out the extended promo for episode eleven, titled "Second Chances," as well as a second promo below:
"Second Chances" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, DLV) (HDTV)
TALIA AL GHUL TAKES OLIVER UNDER HER WING - In his quest to take down Kovar, Oliver (Stephen Amell) gets help from a surprising source - Talia al Ghul (guest star Lexa Doig). However, when she reveals what she wants from him in exchange, Oliver isn't sure he can accept her help. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) attempts to hack the NSA to help free Diggle (David Ramsey) but when her online efforts are flagged, she faces off against an unknown adversary. Meanwhile, Curtis (Echo Kellum) tells the team about a female vigilante, Tina Boland (guest star Juliana Harkavay), he uncovered online who has been wreaking havoc all over the country. Mark Bunting directed the episode written by Speed Weed & Sarah Tarkoff (#511). Original airdate 2/1/2017.
Newly appointed Mayor Oliver Queen finds himself challenged as he fights on two fronts for the future of Star City. With Diggle back in the military and Thea adamant about hanging up her hood as Speedy, Team Green Arrow is down to just Oliver and Felicity – but they’re no longer the only vigilantes in town. Green Arrow’s public defeat of Damien Darhk at the end of Season Four has inspired a new crop of masked heroes to step up and defend the city, though their painful inexperience makes them obstacles, rather than allies, in the field. The arrival of a deadly new adversary will force Oliver to confront questions about his own legacy, both as mayor and as the Green Arrow.
