First Official Image Of Brandon Routh Fully Suited Up As 'The Atom' In ARROW

Brandon Routh once suited up as the Man of Steel in Superman Returns, but he has a new costume in the world of Arrow, and it's pretty freaking awesome! Hit the jump for the full reveal of Ray Palmer in his armoured A.T.O.M costume which will debut on screen later this month...

Brandon Routh is no stranger to the world of superhero costumes after playing Superman, but I think it's fair to say that his Atom suit tops the one he donned in Bryan Singer's so/so take on the Man of Steel! This will make its debut on the February 25th episode of Arrow, and it looks like Ray Palmer will take it to Central City when he visits The Flash later this year based on the image below. Either way, The Atom is expected to get his own series at some point, but that has not been confirmed as of yet. What do you guys think of this costume? Better than The Arrow and The Flash?

Looks better than I expected it would, not that that's saying much. Helmet's a bit goofy looking, but overall it's pretty good - but not great

This suit alone is better than anything we've seen on Arrow and The Flash by a landslide! I already want him to have a spin-off (and I don't even watch Arrow anymore)!

I have a feeling that the suit will be something like the G.I. Joe accelerator suits initially (because it was in the One Man Army Corps files) before he learns how to shrink accidentally maybe on the Flash. GreenArrowTV is speculating the suit will appear in episode 15.

EASILY the best costume. I wish the visor part would be more cowl like though, kind of like Cap's Avengers suit.
