"It's On." The Rivalry Between ARROW's Stephen Amell Vs. WWE Superstar 'Stardust' Intensifies
It looks like that match between Arrow star Stephen Amell and Stardust is definitely going to happen, as their Twitter war has now been taken to a new level, while The Arrow's catchphrase has even been used on WWE programming. Oh, and why is William Shatner getting involved?
We've been keeping you updated about the ongoing rivalry between Stephen Amell and WWE Superstar Stardust, and with wrestling dirt sheets reporting that the plan is for them to have some sort of confrontation at SummerSlam in Brooklyn next month, their latest interactions drop even more hints about what we should expect. After Stardust stole Amell's now famous Arrow line to taunt a downed opponent, the actor responded by saying "It's on" while wearing his Green Arrow cotume; could that suit debut in a wrestling match ahead of the season four premiere on The CW?
It's certainly looking that way! The WWE tends to always make their celebrity guests look good, so expect to see him emerge victorious when these two do clash. It would be pretty cool if Amell has trained for an actual match, and recent rumours indicate that SummerSlam will feature the actor teaming up with Neville to take on Stardust and The Miz in a tag team match. There have even been rumblings of WCW legend Sting (now part of the WWE) somehow getting involved. Either way, stay tuned to CBM as we'll keep you updated on how this one develops. What do you think?
