Major New Villain To Be Introduced In The Season Three Finale Of ARROW

Ra's al Ghul hasn't ended up being the big bad of Arrow's third season that many fans expected, but could his grandson be the one to target Oliver Queen? That's right, it sounds like we're about to meet a version of Batman's son, Damian Wayne, in the finale! Hit the jump for details...

According to TV Line, the season three finale of Arrow will introduce what they describe as a "major, formidable, fierce new foe" for Oliver Queen, and his "reign of terror" is something which will then continue well into season four of The CW series. The character however is being described internally as "Damian Dark", and the site goes on to speculate that this could be some sort of version of Damian Wayne (minus the Batman connection). It makes sense that we could be introduced to Talia's son, and seeing The Arrow battle a version of The Heretic would be very cool and certainly matches the description. What do you guys think? It would have been awesome if they were actually trying to make a Green Arrow show, and took the opportunity to really create the definitive version of Oliver Queen and his whole world rather than just making him into Batman.

It just feels like a huge wasted opportunity that pushes Oliver further in Batmans shadow rather than giving him his time in the spot light like he deserves. It's like they're actively trying to make people think that he's nothing but a derivative second string Bruce rather than finding the diamond in the rough and defining who Oliver Queen is as his own man that stands apart from everyone else.

I really hope season 4 isn't more than 12 episodes. Most of the episodes this season were pointless fillers and added little to the story.

Leto with the teases. We're definitely getting a Joker pic soon. It will be the first official thing we get in opinion. I hope its not heavy on the prosthetics. Would rather get a man who has bleached skin and green hair hair.

@dannramm113 I read your Editorial when you released it and I actually was by your side... But it keeps getting harder.

I really hope WB/CW introduce at least ONE villain that is part of the Green Arrow's Rogue Gallery instead of just using enemies of other heroes.

Probably not until right before production of Suicide Squad or a time where the look is finalized. They don't want to risk it even a month out. You never know if they may want to change up the makeup

Alright, it is now time for a Green Arrow movie. A real Green Arrow movie. Goatee, humor, wit, kind of light-hearted but not too much. Not this pseudo-Batman BS.

Atleast season 1 kept with the Green Arrow themes. Rich vs poor, Green Arrow villains, new storylines. This is getting ridiculous.
