I don't get why a lot of you guys complain every time Oliver beats Nyssa. This is the third time they have fought and he has won fairly handily each time. He is the hero of the show for Godsake. And as far as Cupid goes, is it too much to think he may have been holding back cause she was clinically insane and needed help?

I do admit that acting on this show is nowhere near the best on television, but that doesn't bother me. It doesn't need to be a perfect show to be loved, and many people love it. If you can't accept certain elements of the show then that is completely fine, but do not use it as an excuse to hate on people who can.

On the fight: Nyssa is a great fighter, as they've shown. However, Oliver simply took an opportunity to string her up with a "cable arrow" and no matter how good of a fighter you are, once you are tied up you're done. She doesn't have super-strength and she can't get out of that in three seconds flat. The show has shown that Nyssa is still a fierce opponent to Oliver and he doesn't usually beat her easily.

The argument for "so and so has so much experience, they shouldn't be able to be defeated" is ridiculous. Oliver is the hero of the show and (if it wasn't already evident enough) this Oliver is way more badass in hand to hand combat than comics Oliver.

@Kingpin, the whole idea of Both Oliver and Thea going to the island toghrther was to train and prepare for Ras al. Gul. If he can't beat Nyssa now, then he certainly wonldln' lt be ready for Ras.

Is this show implying that Oliver has magically advanced his fighting skills? When did that happen? Oh wait, this is Arrow. The "grounded" show where Laurel and Thea can become expert martial artists overnight. And where 110 lb chicks can handle themselves against cut 200 lb opponents. The show where training happens so easy that Oliver went from missing targets to master archer in 5 minutes without any help of a teacher.

On Arrow shit just happens. It's best not to ask why.

Being a huge fan of the show I can agree that the acting isn't very good at times.

But John Barrowman consistently gives excellent performances on the show. Its not ALL bad.

Also I think most of us are watching the show for the action. I'd hope not even the biggest fan of Arrow in the world would compare it to Breaking Bad. It's a fun hour of television with beautiful women, cool action scenes, and comic book cameos galore I'm not complaining much.

Oh and lets not forget Manu Bennett as Deathstroke. He did a fantastic job in season two

@murdy511

its all about logic IMO,if Arrow is capable to fight and beat born/trained assassin in nissa,a martial artist in white tiger or even a meta human in barry or slade how in the hell he would have problems with cupid?
is just plain straight bad writing,with make arrow capabilities goes up and down to favor the script.
at least i am happy they are doing right with the flash.
