Reminding fans that in just a few weeks
Batwoman will be joining the DCEU lineup, the CW released a new teaser for its upcoming series starring Ruby Rose.
The teaser sees Rose's Kate Kane embrace the mantle of Gotham's new vigilante, ready to play by her own rules. The upcoming series sees Kane return to Gotham three years after the mysterious disappearance of Batman. WIth the city overrun by crime activity, Kane will it upon herself to restore Gotham.
In the teaser, we see Kane discover the Batcave and suit up in the cape and cowl.
Kate Kane (Ruby Rose) soars through the shadowed streets of Gotham as Batwoman. But don’t call her a hero yet. In a city desperate for a savior, she must first overcome her own demons before embracing the call to be Gotham’s symbol of hope.
Batwoman was actually introduced in last year's
Elseworld crossover, but the series itself is set to premiere on Sunday, October 6 on The CW.
