With a little under a month go, The CW has released the official trailer Batwoman season three, giving fans an idea of what to expect from the start of the season as Ryan Wilder (Javicia Leslie) and her team try to track down all of the Batman trophies, which have dangerous ties to some of his greatest foes.

The trailer also reveals that Mad Hatter and Killer Croc will be among the early villains we'll see return to Gotham City this October, and while we don't catch a glimpse of her in the trailer, we did also recently learn that former Agent Carter and White Collar star Bridget Regan will recur throughout the season as Pamela Isley, a.k.a. Poison Ivy.

The main cast of season three will feature Javicia Leslie as Ryan Wilder/Batwoman, Rachel Skarsten as Beth Kane/Alice, Meagan Tandy as Sophie Moore, Nicole Kang as Mary Hamilton, Camrus Johnson as Luke Fox/Batwing, Robin Givens as Jada Jet, Nick Creegan as Marquis Jet, and Victoria Cartagena as Renee Montoya.

Batwoman returns for its third season on Wednesday, October 13, which is a new day for the series as it aired its previous two seasons on Sunday. However, with heavy competition expected from Sunday Night Football, it's probably for the best The CW decided to finally move later into the week.

Last season was better than the first (their take on Black Mask was pretty good).

But tbh I enjoyed the time without Batwoman even more.

I watch it for the Batvillains mostly, because the Batteam doesn't seem very interesting (maybe except Luke).

As with most TV shows, their initial season is where they get their sea-legs. Each subsequent season usually improves on the first, with the emphasis on usually. Batwoman's 2nd season was definitely better than the 1st. Hopefully this upcoming season will improve on the last.
