DOOM PATROL Casts The Sisterhood of Dada & The Dead Boy Detective Agency; Adding Eight To The Ensemble

While Mr. Nobody may be gone, it looks like the Sisterhood of Dada will be coming to Doom Patrol next season, and we also have confirmation that they'll be joined by the Dead Boy Detective Agency.

Deadline is reporting that the Brotherhood Sisterhood of Dada and the Dead Boy Detective Agency are both coming to HBO Max's Doom Patrol in season three.

Micah Joe Parker (The Flash; The Vampire Diaries), Wynn Everett (Marvel's Agent Carter; Teenage Bounty Hunters), Miles Mussenden (Marvel's Cloak & DaggerSpider-Man: Homecoming), Anita Kalathara (Room 104MacGyver), and Gina Hiraizumi (Dynasty; Hawaii Five-0) join the ensemble cast in recurring roles as the Sisterhood of Dada.

  • Parker will play Malcolm, "a quiet, sensitive and thoughtful soul who would often rather be invisible than face this unforgiving world."
  • Everett will play Shelley Byron, a.k.a. The Fog, who is described as "Supposedly a deadly terrorist, Shelley is charming, seductive, poetic and a bit mad."
  • Mussenden will play Lloyd Jefferson, a.k.a. Frenzy, "A sculptor of strange life-like masks who is covered with tattoos and scars – the memories and injustices that immortalize his life – he is cryptic and stoic with a capacity for extreme devastation."
  • Kalathara will play Holly McKenzie, a.k.a. Sleepwalk, "A light-hearted ne’er do well, Holly knows where the best parties are. After a wild night of partying, she usually takes a nice long nap in the ice cream truck where she works, and if she is awoken mid-nap, there is hell to pay."
  • Hiraizumi will play Sachiko, a.k.a. The Quiz, "an enigmatic germaphobe whose crippling phobias mask awe-inspiring powers."

Additionally, Madalyn Horcher (Jack Reacher: Never Go BackThe Night Shift), Ty Tennant (TolkienWar of the Worlds), and Sebastian Croft (Game of Thrones; Penny Dreadful) are set to guest star in season three as the Dead Boy Detective Agency.

  • Tennant will portray Edwin Payne, "who since dying 80 years ago due to a “clerical error” has seen horrors no one could imagine."
  • Croft will portray Charles Rowland, "another long-dead lad who does his best to be chipper, though his death by hypothermia and neglect haunts him."
  • Horcher will portray Crystal Palace, "a sarcastic teenage medium whose only friends are Charles and Edwin."

The eight join a returning star cast that features Brendan Fraser as Cliff Steele, Matt Bomer as Negative Man, Diane Guerrero as Crazy Jane, Joivan Wade as Cyborg, April Bowlby as Rita Farr, and Timothy Dalton as The Chief. Abigail Shapiro is also expected to return in a recurring role as Dorothy Spinner and Michelle Gomez (The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina; The Flight Attendant) recently joined the cast in a series regular role as Madame Rouge.

Doom Patrol is expected to return for season three sometime later this year.

Not a fan of them throwing in characters that arent associated with the stories. Progressive to change the name to sisterhood too.

Was about to say I’m literally watching this show right now and loving it but the “mr nobody is gone” comment has angered me as there was no warning about potential spoilers 🙃

I hope the show becomes more like the first season again. Second season went a little weird a little too often. Still a fun show overalll though, so I'm glad we're getting a third season

They damn we'll bring the show up to 4K, which is what it always was on DCU.
