DOOM PATROL: Things Get Even Weirder In The New Promo For Season 1, Episode 2: "Donkey Patrol"
After a show-stopping premiere, next week's episode of Doom Patrol promises to take things up a notch as Victor Stone makes his debut and the team must monitor a donkey for answers to their new situation.
After a ton of glowing reviews, the DC Universe's Doom Patrol finally premiered today with an episode that introduced, and told the tragic origin stories of, all of Niles Caulder's (Timothy Dalton) lovable band of misfits: Cliff Steele (Brendan Fraser), Larry Trainor (Matt Bomer), Rita Farr (April Bowlby), and Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero).
The hour ended in jaw-dropping fashion as Mr. Nobody (Alan Tudyk) made his grand entrance and subsequently sucked the entire town into his bizarre dimension, including both Niles and Jane.
Now, with both of them missing, Cliff must rally Rita and Larry and convince them to help him save their friends. However, that may prove to be easier said than done when Cliff discovers a mysterious donkey that may be holding all the answers to their current predicament.
DOOM PATROL reimagines one of DC’s most beloved groups of Super Heroes: Robotman aka Cliff Steele (BRENDAN FRASER), Negative Man aka Larry Trainor (MATT BOMER), Elasti-Woman aka Rita Farr (APRIL BOWLBY) and Crazy Jane (DIANE GUERRERO), led by modern-day mad scientist Niles Caulder aka The Chief (TIMOTHY DALTON). Each member of the Doom Patrol suffered a horrible accident that gave them superhuman abilities, but also left them scarred and disfigured. Traumatized and downtrodden, the team found their purpose through The Chief, coming together to investigate the weirdest phenomena in existence. Following the mysterious disappearance of The Chief these reluctant heroes will find themselves in a place they never expected to be, called to action by none other than Cyborg (JOIVAN WADE), who comes to them with a mission hard to refuse. Part support group, part Super Hero team, the Doom Patrol is a band of superpowered freaks who fight for a world that wants nothing to do with them.
Doom Patrol features:
Timothy Dalton as Niles Caulder/The Chief

Joivan Wade as Victor Stone/Cyborg
