It's been a long time since Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Barbara Kean (Erin Richards) have seen eye to eye, but it looks like the former flames will be forced to put their differences aside for at least an hour next week when they team-up to investigate a shady location where a number of kids have recently gone missing.

Meanwhile, the rest of the episode will see Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) look into an alleged witch, who could possibly help Selina (Camren Bicondova), and the Riddler (Cory Michael Smith) and Poison Ivy (Peyton List) will deal with problems of their own.

THE GANGS RULE THE STREETS ON AN ALL-NEW "GOTHAM" THURSDAY, JANUARY 10, ON FOX

I'm so glad this show will be cancelled. Sorry for it's fans, but this show was probably the worst thing that was ever done with Batman since Frank Miller's "All-Star Batman".

@ThunderThighs - when is the last time you watched it, the show improved every season

@dracula - Around the time Michael Chiklis became this Bane lookalike.

@ThunderThighs - Well he wasnt bane, and how did he look like bane, he was a strong bald guy in an armored suit, what about that looks like bane

@dracula - I didn't know how to describe it better. And that's not my point. My point is that the show does a huge disservice to each character that appears by rushing the Batman mythos. Important character developments happen BEFORE Bruce even becomes the Dark Knight.
It feels just wrong. And many characterizations are so off. When Jim Gordon stopped beign an honest cop and became like every other cop in Gotham City, the show took the final deep dive for me.

@ThunderThighs - Well its not like this is a prequel to any existing version of batman, and its always been up for debate on if Batman created his villains or if they create the need for him. Well for at least this version, they create the need for him, at least he hasnt actually faced any of them, hell in Smallville, pretty much all of superman's biggest villains were dead by the time he became superman. Plus it would be a boring show without villains, it would be a normal cop show, if you want that, people can just watch Law and Order.
While they dont nail every character, there are plenty they get right or close to right, for one thing this show has the best Riddler, Penguin, Scarecrow. Gordon did stumble in season 2, by killing Galavan, but he has redeemed himself since then

Cant wait to see Jeremiah return. The Joker we need and the one we deserve.

dracula - 1/5/2019, 4:43 PM
@HeavyMetal4Life - if they dont confirm he is the joker, the last time we see him should be the ace chemical episode, just dont say he is alive or dead, leave it up to interpretation
HeavyMetal4Life
HeavyMetal4Life - 1/5/2019, 4:51 PM
@dracula - pretty sure DC forbid them from using the word Joker. They were going to last season, and DC stepped and said I don't think so...
dracula
dracula - 1/5/2019, 4:53 PM
@HeavyMetal4Life - thats why if they cant say it, they should just leave it open to interpretation
HeavyMetal4Life
HeavyMetal4Life - 1/5/2019, 4:57 PM
@dracula - I mean pretty much everyone that watches it knows he's the joker. He dresses and acts like the joker.

I also think that ace chemical episode will happen sooner than the finale.
dracula
dracula - 1/5/2019, 5:32 PM
@HeavyMetal4Life - We all know he is the joker, but they cant call him the joker, and its fine if he is taken care of before the finale, pretty sure Bane is the final big bad
HeavyMetal4Life
HeavyMetal4Life - 1/5/2019, 6:56 PM
@dracula - Sorry what I meant with the ace chemical episode happening sooner is that I doubt that is the last we will see of him. I imagine Jeremiah will play a role through the final moments of the season. Bane will be the forefront big bad I believe.

Really enjoyed the first episode but do we really need to waste limited time on Ivy again? Or Barbra? We could've gotten Harvey Dent's Two-Face transformation with this screen time instead.
HeavyMetal4Life
HeavyMetal4Life - 1/5/2019, 4:35 PM
@Nightwing1015 - I... do agree. Though I'd rather see Ivy than Barbara, haven't been a fan of Barbara since season 3.

dracula - 1/5/2019, 4:44 PM
@Nightwing1015 - Problem is Harvey Dents actor has his own show, thats why he hasnt been seen since season 2. really he is the only major villain they arent going to be able to finish

Jeez Ben McKenzie has finally aged enough that he fully transformed into Russell Crowe from L.A. Confidential.

Whoever thought having characters monologue into the camera was a good idea needs to go back to film school.
