ugh
way too soon (and yes I believe it's a tease not the real thing of course, doesn't matter).....i want to like this show but it feels completely in a rush to be thought of as a familiar "batman" universe...I'd like it far more if they did less with characters we recognize.

No.
True Bat-fans do enjoy the show.

But of course there's always room for improvement.

wait ... what? but the joker doesn't exist until after bruce becomes batman. unless this i about the MAN who becomes the joker and is contemplating joining the red hood gang... and then stays a part of the gang for years until bruce grows up and then he falls into a vat of acid and then becomes the joker. then i will be ok with this... but if he is just straight up joker while bruce is a kid then i am done with this show. AND I AM A FAN OF THIS SHOW !!! LIKE BIG FANN!! but 2nd half of first series hasn't started yet over here in UK. so i have no idea what this is all about!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? someone reassure me PLEASE :) lol.

@Malakas

The whole premise, I've been keeping up with it, but I really wanted them to kill off Fish Mooney.... I was waiting for that, because you know, so many characters can't die, there is just no risk at all because they are around when Batman finally comes to Gotham.

But, yeah, I'm not a fan of this interpretation, and I really don't like seeing Bruce and Catwoman, and Ivy, etc, so young.... I'm hoping that they skip ahead a few years for next season, and I'm hoping that Batman may actually make an appearance, or at least an older Bruce training

The quality of the show is pretty good.

The overall idea of young villains of Batman is [frick]ing stupid.

I am conflicted due to the fact that a part of me finds it cool that we could be introduced to The Joker but the biggest part of me (and the most logical part) tell me that it's too soon, like way way too soon and also it's useless to introduce him. Inner conflict.

I really hope they jump the series a few years ahead (flashbacks are fine), even if it means recasting a bunch of the baby-bat characters. And for [frick]'s sake, kill off Fish Mooney already...such an obnoxiously bad character.

Blaquaman

@Chaud Gotham has it's share of good episodes. But it's just shoehorning all the villains in for the sake of ratings. Riddler works, so does Penguin. But anything more than that is too much.

Geez. You'd think they made Bruce Wayne black or something. The butthurt is real. Chill out, guys. It's not that bad.
