TANK GIRL's Lori Petty Joins The Cast Of GOTHAM
The newest addition to the cast of Fox's Batman origin series is Lori Petty (Tank Girl, Orange Is The New Black), who'll guest star in episode 14 of the show's second season as an "enigmatic" club hostess named Jeri. Will she turn out to be an established DC Comics character?
Following on from the news that Breaking Bad's Michael Bowen has joined the cast of Gotham season 2 as Matches Malone, Variety reports that Tank Girl herself, Lori Petty, will also be making a guest appearance as Jeri. Though this is probably a new character created just for the show, the description provided by Variety does make it sound like she could well be an incarnation of Roulette.
"The flamboyant and enigmatic hostess of an underground club where mass murder and art are celebrated in equal measure, Jeri gives clues to Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) during his hunt for his parents’ killer, but she and her gang of merry maniacs are less helpful when Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) comes calling."
Roulette, AKA Veronica Sinclair, runs a casino known as The House, which doubles as a superhuman gladiatorial arena. Now while Gotham doesn't have many super-powered characters (yet, anyway), it's always possible we could get a scaled down version similar to Fight Club. Of course, it's just as likely Petty will simply be playing a crooked hostess named Jeri.
