'The Graysons' Might Swing Into GOTHAM At Some Point This Season

Fox's Batman prequel series is already pretty stuffed with characters (mostly villains) from Caped Crusader lore, and according to Ben McKenzie (Det. Jim Gordon), Mr. and Mrs. future Robin the Boy Wonder might just be joining the fray. More past the jump..

Pretty much every Batman villain (well, the ones that work within the Gotham universe anyway) has either appeared or is set to appear on Fox's small-screen telling of the origins of the Dark Knight. We know Harvey Dent will be featured in next week's ep, and following that the likes of Scarecrow, Mr. Freeze, and the Joker have all been teased. Well, it sounds like some more heroic character have also been added to the list. Last week Ben McKenzie revealed that his character, Jim Gordon, and Morena Baccarin's Dr. Leslie Thompkins would be lovers on the show, and now he's teasing the appearance of Dick Grayson's, aka Robin/Nightwing, parents. “The Grayson’s may appear this season,” the actor tells the Daily Beast. “I’m not 100 percent sure yet, but I think so.” It sounds like they will be showing up at some point then; maybe just not this season. We'll also assume McKenzie is talking about Dick Grayson's acrobat parents only, and not the boy (Wonder) himself...unless Gotham is planning to take its biggest liberty with a character's age yet! What would you think about the inclusion of the Graysons in the show?
