"I'm coming for you, Johnny..."

...and with that, DC's Legends of Tomorrow is officially back and it looks like we may be in for one helluva season as the Legends partner with John Constantine (Matt Ryan) to take down a series of magical and mystical beasts as well as the most unspeakable evil they've ever faced.

Next week's episode will take the Legends to the Salem witch trials where they come across a nasty fairy godmother on a mission that will be very personal for Zari (Tala Ashe). Meanwhile, back at the Time Bureau, Nate (Nick Zano) and Ava (Jes Macallan) will do their best to try and convince the rest of the Bureau that magic is very, very real and their plan may involve turning Ray (Brandon Routh) into a pig.

"Witch Hunt" - (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, DL) (HDTV)

NOT YOUR TYPICAL FAIRY GODMOTHER - When the magical Time Seismograph goes off, the team finds themselves headed to the Salem witch trials. Sara (Caity Lotz) notices that Zari (Tala Ashe) is taking this case personally when she promises to save a mom, who is being accused of being a witch. However, the team quickly learns that there is a magical creature in the town creating problems they hadn't been expecting. Meanwhile, Nate (Nick Zano) and Ava (Jes Macallan) work together to try to keep their Time Bureau funding by proving to them that magic exists. Matt Ryan, Dominic Purcell and Brandon Routh also star. Kevin Mock directed the episode written by Keto Shimizu & Matthew Maala (#402). Original airdate 10/29/2018.

After defeating the demon Mallus by cuddling him to death with a giant stuffed animal named Beebo, the Legends are ready to ease off the gas. Sara and her team join Ava Sharpe and the Time Bureau to help clean up the last few remaining anachronisms. The job seems straightforward enough until Constantine arrives to inform them that, in solving one major problem, they have created another, much larger one. When the Legends let time crumble in order to release and defeat Mallus, the barrier between worlds softened. History is now infected with "Fugitives" - magical creatures from myths, fairytales, and legends. Having been expelled throughout time by people like Constantine, these Fugitives are now returning to our world in droves and making a real mess of things. As the Time Bureau is distrustful of and ill-equipped to deal with magic, the Legends must team up with everyone's favorite demonologist to set history back on track.

Legends Of Tomorrow features:
Brandon Routh as Dr. Ray Palmer/The Atom
Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary
Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave
Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Charlie
Nick Zano as Dr. Nate Heywood/Commander Steel
Amy Pemberton as Gideon
Tala Ashe as Zari Adrianna Tomaz

EXCELLENT premiere!! I was laughing nonstop, man is it great to have this show back. It just is nonstop fun from start to finish. So many funny moments, so many laughs, so much great imagery. I especially loved Rory, upon realizing that the fate of Black Sabbath was in question, was fully behind The Beatles. Everyone mind tripping on Unicorn mucus was funny as hell, Ray kissing a tree, Rory believing he is speaking with Axel and giving him a hug, etc. Everyone was terrific, Constantine of course was great being back and looking forward to him joining the Legends. I have nothing but praise for this episode, looking forward to watching it again. Best Arrowverse episode this season so far.

This week as of now:
1. Legends- excellent
2. Arrow- good
3. Supergirl- solid/good

@MrDandy - for now, yes! I think Arrow may end up having the stronger season this year, but this was the best episode of an Arrowverse show this Fall so far, and as we know Legends was better than the other shows with the previous season.

Well, this one's gonna have to top Justice League Unlimited's "This Little Piggy".

Also, as a BIG Beatles fan, KUDOS to the show's producers for starting the season with the band's legendary 1964 arrival in the US.

Not sure if this was already posted, but I'm guessing this confirms the official title and logo of the Joker movie?

My son and I were watching Legends together. We both said how the writing room must be a blast to be in for this show. Seriously, can't imagine what it must be like (writers) " say for the primere lets go back to Woodstock and have everyone trip out on unicorn snot!" Rory still continues to be the best.

Did everyone forget that Dahrk existed?

I liked how it began with them fixing the last anachronism by saving The Beatles.

Premiere was good and hilarious but also mixed with private character moments, like Zari looking at her mom and her younger self in the present before they had to leave Washington and Nate trying to bond again with his dad. I felt it was at first a little weird he signed up to go stealing things with Mick but when it was revealed he was doing it to his dad, it made sense.

Time Bureau holding a party for the Legends and then taking away their medals was funny and yet sensible given the way they operate to protect history.

Ava and Sara make a nice couple. Judging by their dialogue before Constatine showed up I am getting the feeling that Sara might step down as captain by the end. Or maybe it is just me jumping too much the gun just like I think after this Season is done that Constantine will learn the value of working with a team, having partners and, idk, try to form his own paranormal league/squad.

I'll never look at unicorns the same way after this.

Nate hallucinating his father in Mick and him his rat Axel in Nate was lol.

Seems that every single spell that Constantine uses nowadays comes mostly from that book of king Solomon, he did it as well back when he tried to exorcise Mallus out from Nora Darhk.

"I'm coming for you, Johnny". First clue about the big bad this year is that it/he/she has history with Constantine.
