Vampires don't exist... or do they?

Well, that's exactly what the Legends are going to find out next week when they head back to 1897 to catch what appears to be a time-traveling vampire that is leaving hordes of victims in his wake. Meanwhile, Rip will join them on their latest mission and Amaya tries to make some sort of connection with Zari, but it sounds like it's going to be easier said than done.

Watch the new promo for episode five, titled " Return of the Mack," below:

"Return of the Mack" - (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, DLV) (HDTV)

HELPING ONE OF THEIR OWN - When Nate (Nick Zano) thinks he has found a pattern to the anachronisms, it leads the Legends to London in 1897 to hunt down a time-traveling vampire. When they arrive in London, they run into Rip (guest star Arthur Darvill), but not everyone welcomes him back so quickly, leaving Sara (Caity Lotz) to make a tough choice in the end. Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) tries to connect with Zari (Tala Ashe), but she is still struggling with being part of the team. Meanwhile, Stein (Victor Garber) discovers what Ray (Brandon Routh) and Jax (Franz Drameh) are up to and is not entirely pleased. Dominic Purcell also stars. Alexandra La Roche directed the episode written by Grainne Godfree & Morgan Faust (#305). Original airdate 11/07/2017.

After defeating the Legion of Doom, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow face a new existential threat created by their actions at the end of last season. By revisiting a moment in time they’d already participated in, they’ve essentially fractured the timeline and created anachronisms all across time! Our team must find a way to return all the anachronisms to their original timelines before the time stream falls apart. But before our Legends can jump back into action, Rip Hunter and his newly established Time Bureau call their methods into question and disband the team. Challenging the Time Bureau’s authority, they recruit a hacker from the future, Zari Tomaz and continue their time travelling shenanigans, while insisting that however messy their methods may be, some problems are beyond the Bureau’s capabilities. Some problems can only be fixed by Legends.

Legends Of Tomorrow features:
Brandon Routh as Dr. Ray Palmer/The Atom
Victor Garber as Professor Martin Stein/Firestorm
Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary
Franz Drameh as Jefferson "Jax" Jackson/Firestorm
Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave
Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Amaya Jiwe/Vixen
Nick Zano as Dr. Nate Heywood/Citizen Steel
Amy Pemberton as Gideon
Tala Ashe as Zari Adrianna Tomaz
Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter
Tracy Ifeachor as Kuasa
Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold
Neal McDonough as Damien Darhk
Courtney Ford as Eleanor Darhk

Legends Of Tomorrow returns with an all-new episode November 7

Good episode, but I think what we really learned this episode is that for being such a genius, Martin Stien really doesn't understand how time travel works.

Great episode, I loved the little nod to BTTF and the much bigger one to ET. Good stuff with Ray, he's such an awesome character and Routh always nails it.

I don't know much about this stuff, but wasn't that really good CGI for a tv show with the baby dominator?

Calling it now, Prof Stein’s grandson (grown up version from the future) will be the Jax’s new Firestorm partner, hence the name Ronnie! Through blood, Baby Ronnie will have the Firestorm Matrix in him. They’ll prolly run into him when they go back to the future later this season. Sucks that it won’t be the Ronnie we know and love, but this is a pretty sweet setup with Victor Garber leaving the series.

Loved this episode and the throwback to E.T

Also Steins departure is being setup nicely. Doesn't feel forced at all which is nice. Always good to see when they take the time to show love for a leaving Actor by giving him a proper send off

This was the first episode of this season which i thought was actually funny and entertaining! :D

I really like Palmer-centric episodes!
Lots of cool nods, and some were even...strange...
But i've seen Stranger Things (s2) so.... :P

I kinda felt meh about this episode. Is this show really out of ideas that it has to steal the entire plot and staging from a classic movie? I knew from watching the previews that they would try to do an ET story, but I didn't know it would be THAT similar. A young boy finds a stranded alien and tries to hide him at home? Feeds him candy on Halloween? Gets abducted by the feds? Has a teary-eyed farewell at the end? And then that whole bicycle thing INCLUDING THE SHADOWS ACROSS THE MOON?! How was CW not sued by Spielberg?

@GAThrawnIGF - There are a lot questions about this episode, at the moment I can't think of any.
