The Legends may be skipping the "Elseworlds" crossover, but that doesn't mean they won't still be getting into their own time-traveling, reality-bending shenanigans after John Constantine (Matt Ryan) accidentally fractures reality.
The showrunners have indicated that the episode will essentially serve as its own crossover and after seeing the preview, we know why as it looks like the team will be revisiting a number of their past adventures, including a reality where they're all puppets.

IT'S THE RIGHT THING TO DO - After Constantine (Matt Ryan) breaks the cardinal Legend rule, you can't change the past, he, along with Charlie (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and Zari (Tala Ashe) try to deal with the ramifications without telling the rest of the Legends. Even though Zari encourages them to just fix the problem, Constantine and Charlie are determined to find another way, but only continue to make things worse. Caity Lotz, Brandon Routh, Dominic Purcell, Nick Zano, Ramona Young and Jes Macallan also star. Ben Bray directed the episode written by James Eagan & Ray Utarnachitt (#408). After defeating the demon Mallus by cuddling him to death with a giant stuffed animal named Beebo, the Legends are ready to ease off the gas. Sara and her team join Ava Sharpe and the Time Bureau to help clean up the last few remaining anachronisms. The job seems straightforward enough until Constantine arrives to inform them that, in solving one major problem, they have created another, much larger one. When the Legends let time crumble in order to release and defeat Mallus, the barrier between worlds softened. History is now infected with "Fugitives" - magical creatures from myths, fairytales, and legends. Having been expelled throughout time by people like Constantine, these Fugitives are now returning to our world in droves and making a real mess of things. As the Time Bureau is distrustful of and ill-equipped to deal with magic, the Legends must team up with everyone's favorite demonologist to set history back on track.
