The Legend are heading back to the '90s where they'll attempt to track down a swamp monster of some sort that's seemingly been kidnapping children. However, protecting a bunch of kids may be easier said than done, especially for lovebirds Sara (Caity Lotz) and Ava (Jes Macallan). Luckily, John Constantine (Matt Ryan) has exactly the right concoction to help them get over their fears.

Meanwhile, back on the Waverider, Rory (Dominic Purcell) and Zari (Tala Ashe) do their best to contain Charlie (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and in a hilarious turn of events, Rory actually ends up forming an unexpected kinship with the fugitive doppelgänger of Amaya.

After defeating the demon Mallus by cuddling him to death with a giant stuffed animal named Beebo, the Legends are ready to ease off the gas. Sara and her team join Ava Sharpe and the Time Bureau to help clean up the last few remaining anachronisms. The job seems straightforward enough until Constantine arrives to inform them that, in solving one major problem, they have created another, much larger one. When the Legends let time crumble in order to release and defeat Mallus, the barrier between worlds softened. History is now infected with "Fugitives" - magical creatures from myths, fairytales, and legends. Having been expelled throughout time by people like Constantine, these Fugitives are now returning to our world in droves and making a real mess of things. As the Time Bureau is distrustful of and ill-equipped to deal with magic, the Legends must team up with everyone's favorite demonologist to set history back on track.

Legends Of Tomorrow features:
Brandon Routh as Dr. Ray Palmer/The Atom
Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary

Very good episode tonight. Just all around great Legends shenanigans, the humor was on point and I thought all the storylines were handled and written well. Good character pairings too. Where to start...

- the Legends in the 70s were great, we got Constantine in his home turf and even got a reference to his band from back in the day. The conflict between him and Rory is so freaking hilarious. But the relationship between Ray and Zari is great too, love all her support and expressions when Ray talks. I also had a feeling that the shapeshifter would become the new Amaya and glad to see that was the case. I really liked this new character, she meant well and had an interesting backstory, one that had depth. Ray could really relate and understand her and it was nice to see their relationship. So I look forward to seeing more of Charlie with the Legends going forward. She certainly fits right in with the team. Also, is it just me or do I sense a disturbance in the force between Constantine and Zari??
- also, who was that in Constantine's vision? It wasn't Manny, didn't recognize who that was. When Constantine said that he has ruined for people's lives than just his mom's, I had a feeling he was talking about Zed (but perhaps that's just wishful thinking on my part); he does come off as quite lonely nowadays.
- Nate and Gary working together as time bros was hilarious, gotta love Gary. Kind of wish we had seen them taking on the plant.

So far this week has been good for DC shows.

1. Arrow- very good
2. Legends- very good
3. Supergirl- solid/good

I'm currently putting Arrow first just because I liked the deeper, more serious tone and the character study (of multiple characters actually) that was in tonight's episode. But both Arrow and Legends were about even for their own different reasons tonight, will rewatch both later this week. Good stuff! Hope Flash and Black Lightning can keep the momentum going.

@TomSolo - They all need help with their hair though. Like, it would have been cool to see Constantine and the Atom with bowl cuts parted in the middle.

Next week's episode looks great, really looking forward to seeing this Swamp Thing, certainly seems right up Constantine's ally. And we BETTER, BETTER get all the references to Jason.

I just binged all the original franchise Jason films last week, so bring it on Legends! You've gotta reference the slasher known for terrorizing summer camps near lovely lakes...

We all wish it was Swamp Thing but at most there is only a 1% chance of it being Swamp Thing

@dracula - I kinda have more of that Creature from the Black Lagoon vibe.

Also, considering DC Universe is putting out a Swamp Thing show next year, I highly doubt they'll use him on the CW at this point in time.

Also also, given how this focuses on mythical creatures, it might turn out to be the Loch Ness Monster. Even though it looks nothing like what's normally depicted.
