Next week's installment of DC's Legends of Tomorrow will finally introduce Maisie Richard-Sellers new character Charlie and while we don't have many details - save for a groovy first look - the episode description doesn't paint a pretty picture, especially if she turns out to be the fugitive our heroes are looking for in 1970s London.

Plus, it looks like Nate (Nick Zano) won't be crossing paths with Charlie, at least not initially, as continues to get acclimated to the Time Bureau and works on strengthening his relationship with his father (Tom Wilson) in
present day.

"Dancing Queen" - (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

LONG LIVE THE CORGI - When the Legends discover a fugitive is hiding in 1970's London, they realize he is part of a gang that is targeting the British Monarchy. Trying to stop the gang, they realize someone from the Legends must infiltrate them. Surprising everyone, Ray (Brandon Routh) is the one to gain their trust after he is put through a series of tests with help from Sara (Caity Lotz) and Rory (Dominic Purcell). Meanwhile, Gary (guest star Adam Tsekhman) shows Nate (Nick Zano) the ropes at the Time Bureau, but it turns out to be anything other than an ordinary day at the office. Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Matt Ryan and Jes Macallan also star. Kristin Windell directed the episode written by James Eagan & Morgan Faust (#403). Original airdate 11/5/2018.

After defeating the demon Mallus by cuddling him to death with a giant stuffed animal named Beebo, the Legends are ready to ease off the gas. Sara and her team join Ava Sharpe and the Time Bureau to help clean up the last few remaining anachronisms. The job seems straightforward enough until Constantine arrives to inform them that, in solving one major problem, they have created another, much larger one. When the Legends let time crumble in order to release and defeat Mallus, the barrier between worlds softened. History is now infected with "Fugitives" - magical creatures from myths, fairytales, and legends. Having been expelled throughout time by people like Constantine, these Fugitives are now returning to our world in droves and making a real mess of things. As the Time Bureau is distrustful of and ill-equipped to deal with magic, the Legends must team up with everyone's favorite demonologist to set history back on track.

Legends Of Tomorrow features:
Brandon Routh as Dr. Ray Palmer/The Atom
Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary

A good episode, not as great as the premiere but still very enjoyable with some great laughs. I'm a bit confused how they didn't fix Zari screwing up the timeline, that seemed like a pretty major change. But Constantine joining the group was nice, loved him and Rory playing off one another. And all of the nods to previous seasons (lol, there's a Beebo game!!) were nice. Any time Constantine performs magic is great, so need more of that. I didn't quite expect Nate to join Ava, but he is a good fit so will be interesting to see how that plays out, especially with his father joining them.

I guess the fairy godmother aspect wasn't quite as appealing to me as the unicorn. Yes it allowed for some nice jokes and some good laughs, but I hope that we begin (before too long) to see these mystical beasts take a darker turn. If I remember correctly, the writers for Legends said they were going to make the tone of this season more fitting for Constantine. I do hope that happens, I really want to see them get into the nasty, less glamorous creatures. That's what Constantine is there for, not fairy godmothers. I want them to go more in the tone of his show, which had some pretty dark villains. Hopefully that is where we are heading.

Anyways, good week so far for the DC shows.

1. Arrow- very good
2. Legends- good
3. Supergirl- good

Next week's episode looks pretty good, punk rock should be right up Constantine's ally. Interesting that they are doing a villain that is using the music, maybe we will get some references from John about when he had to send the acetate to hell. Hope we get some Anarchy in the UK for John.

Just think .....if they'd never bothered with Superman Returns (which I wish they hadn't) Brandon Routh could very well be the Super-girl show's Superman (instead of Hoechlin) and we'd be lookin forward to him playing the Big Blue in his own stand-alone show. Don't get me wrong Hoechlin's pretty good but Routh was such a great fit for the dual role. The stand-alone show that CW have planned would be much more appealing and enjoyable with Routh center stage.
