CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS Rumored To Also Feature An Appearance From Tom Ellis As Lucifer Morningstar

While we'll need to wait on confirmation, a fairly reliable source has revealed this morning that DC TV's upcoming "Crisis on Infinite Earths" will also feature Tom Ellis as Lucifer Morningstar!

While it hasn't been confirmed by the network or producers just yet, the reliable Vancouver-based photograper Canadagraphs has shared some pretty major "Crisis on Infinite Earths" casting news regarding one very charming devil.

According to them, during The Flash shoot late last night, DC TV regulars David Ramsey (John Diggle/Spartan), Katherine McNamara (Mia Smoak/Blackstar) and Matt Ryan (John Constantine) were spotted filming a scene with none other than Lucifer star Tom Ellis, who was in costume as his fan-favorite character Lucifer Morningstar.

The extent of his involvement remains to be seen, but considering the source's track record, this is certainly a promising update and once again confirms the crossover isn't pulling any punches as it assembles all of DC TV's finest.

Production on arguably the most ambitious television crossover ever is expected to continue through the rest of October as DC characters from Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, Batwoman, Black Lightning, Birds of Prey and Smallville unite to save the multiverse from the biggest threat it's ever seen.

The epic crossover will feature a ton of returning special guest stars from all across the multiverse, including Tom Welling as Clark Kent/Superman (Smallville), Erica Durance as Lois Lane (Smallville), LaMonica Garrett as The Monitor/Anti-Monitor, Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent/Superman (Earth-38), Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane (Earth-38), Jon Cryer as Lex Luthor, Cress Williams as Black Lightning, John Wesley Shipp as Barry Allen/The Flash (Earth-90), Johnathon Schaech as Jonah Hex, Osric Chau as Ryan Choi/The Atom, Ashley Scott as Helena Kyle/Huntress (Birds of Prey), Kevin Conroy as future Bruce Wayne and Burt Ward in an undisclosed role.

Both Brandon Routh (Legends of Tomorrow) and Tom Cavanagh (The Flash) will be pulling double (and triple) duty for their respective shows. Routh will suit up as both The Atom and Kingdom Come Superman, while Cavanagh is expected to play Pariah in addition to the latest iteration of Harrison Wells as well as the Reverse-Flash.

"Crisis on Infinite Earths" begins with Supergirl on December 8, followed by Batwoman on December 9, The Flash on December 10 and concludes with an Arrow/Legends of Tomorrow double header on January 14, 2020.
