The recent season finale of James Gunn's Peacemaker featured cameo appearances from four members of the Justice League, and while Ezra Miller and Jason Momoa reprised their respective roles as The Flash and Aquaman, Wonder Woman and Superman were played by stand-ins and kept in the shadows.

Shortly after the episode aired, Man of Steel body double Brad Abramenko shared a proper look at his costume on Instagram. The response was very positive, with some fans even calling for him to take over from Henry Cavill as the iconic hero moving forward. Well, Abramenko has run with the idea, and is now campaigning to play Supes in season 2 of Peacemaker by encouraging fans to use the hashtag #MySuperman on social media.

The actor also shared a video of himself in the suit, with the caption: "Were you about to say something? Am I your Superman guys? If you want me to be, comment #MySuperman on my most recent posts and let's get this going!"

Of course, it's highly unlikely that anything will come of this, but it's hard to blame the guy for putting it out there and chancing his arm! He does look the part, after all, and anything that gains him a bit of attention is bound to benefit his career.

gotta respect the hustle.
I'd be down, only because it would piss the Snyder cult off even more :p

@Spidey91 - Snyder and company were good at casting people who 'Looked' good in a suit, but acting wise I'm not so sure.

But I do think Cavill wasn't served properly. Can't really say he was good or bad as the material he had to work with was shit.

@UnderBelly - Cavill is a charisma vacuum, but I do weerdly miss him as Supes.

It would be funny if they actually cast him as Bizarro or Cyborg Superman. Basically any version of Supers that isn't actually Supes. Just to build out the Snyder-DCEU without touching any of the core JL members. I might be in the minority, but I'm actually more happy to be seeing these obscure characters being the focus for once.

I mean Cavill ain't playing the role again. Might as well give this dude a chance. Just for the TV show. What's the harm.

@KingLeonidas - He is not even an actor!

Love the enthusiasm..but no thanks. WB need to nut up and either say Cavill's out, or announce this ish properly. In the meantime I'm good with Tyler.

No idea who he is but he can't be any more wooden than Cavill so why not?

I'm sure he may deserve a shot, but i don't see it. More imposter than a decent recast.

Has anyone seen this dude act though? Needs to have a bit more talent than looking good in a suit and wig.

Can he act though?
Not that the DCEU is composed of particularily talented actors in the lead roles (outside of Affleck) but at least he should have the voice of a proper Superman.

But looking at the acting chops of Momoa, Gadot, Robbie (at least as Harley), Cena, Heard and Fisher they could just as well cast a model...

Can't blame the guy for trying lol but I still think that David Corenswet is the way to go if they were to reboot Superman; dude's a 6'4ft, charismatic, Juliard-trained actor who was great as the lead in Netflix's Hollywood.

@Superspecialawesomeguy - He may be Juliard trained, but did he actually graduate? Have you seen Affairs of State? Horrible. His bit part in The Politician could have been played by as nobody actor, just as well or better probably and Hollywood was mediocre at best.

I wouldn't doubt he still waits tables in his off time.

@inkniron - I haven't seen Affairs of State or The Politician but I thought he was great in Hollywood personally so I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on that; I thought he gave off major Clark Kent vibes on that show lol.

@Superspecialawesomeguy - The Politician is pretty good, just don't watch it if you want to se him. About 10 minutes of screen time in 2 season.

Affairs of State is a good watch if you're a masochist.

Not sure if he can act, but based on his performance as "floating, mute Superman" he'd be a decent replacement for the Cavill/Snyder Supes at least.

supermanrex - 2/23/2022, 10:28 AM
It's kinda silly they put all that costume effort in and only to have him be in shadow which i couldn't really tell honestly if it was CGI or a real person floating there anyway.
