STARGIRL: Get Your First Look At ARROW's Nick Tarabay As The DC Comics Villain Eclipso

While he's already an Arrowverse alum, Nick Tarabay is returning to DC TV this summer as a much darker villain, this time playing the ancient evil known as Eclipso in Stargirl season two!

TV Line has shared an exciting preview image from the upcoming second season of Stargirl, offering a first look at new series regular Nick Tarabay (Arrow; Spartacus) as the ancient evil known as Eclipso.

The character, who first briefly teased in the first season finale, has been described as an "ancient entity of corruption and vengeance, who is described as physically imposing and frightening. Brimming with a cold, terrifying darkness, Eclipso exploits the flaws of others, reveling in the impure and sinful, sadistically feeding off the dark side of humanity."

Tarabay previously played Digger Harkness, a.k.a. Captain Boomerang, in three episodes of Arrow, but considering he's deceased and wasn't resurrected during the "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover event, it looks like the door was more than open for him to take on this completely different character.

In addition to Tarabay, the new season will also feature Jonathan Cake (The Affair) in a recurring role as Injustice Society alum The Shade, and John Wesley Shipp (The Flash), guest-starring as Golden Age speedster Jay Garrick.

No word yet on a premiere date, but Stargirl is tentatively slated to return for its thirteen-episode second season sometime this summer.

Not bad for a tv show.

I hope he's the main villain of S2, because I like the actor.

So they're continuing the Politicians storyline from the first season?

The first season was pretty good, I only disliked the fact that little kids easily defeated killer professionals.

Glad they managed to reference the comic book design, but also bridge off a little, because whenever I see him in comics I always think I’m looking at the Green Goblin lol

Deathstroke on Arrow: non-Australian character portrayed as Australian.
Captain Boomerang on Arrow: Australian character portrayed as non-Australian, and who also never showed up on The Flash.

Looks like a mix between Pedro Pascal and Leprechaun.
Joke aside it looks good, still have to wait to see how it looks on movement, but this show stays faithful to the comics looks
