STARGIRL: Nowhere Is Safe In The New Promo For Season 2, Episode 9; "Summer School, Chapter Nine"

Next week, Pat takes a trip down memory lane that'll reunite us with the original Justice Society of America while also providing backstory on their first encounter with the nefarious Eclipso!

It looks like we'll be getting a flashback episode next week, as Pat Dugan (Luke Wilson) takes a trip down memory lane when Eclipso (Nick E. Tarabay) strikes at his home, forcing each member of his family to confront a dark moment from their past - which could result in the darkest hour of the season.

While Courtney (Brec Bassinger) begins to lose hope, Mike (Trae Romano) must deal with the immense guilt he feels over Icicle's death, and Barbara (Amy Smart) is left to face an unexpected figure from her past.

As revealed earlier today, the next episode will reunite the original Justice Society of America - Starman (Joel McHale), Hourman (Lou Ferrigno Jr.), Wildcat (Brian Stapf), and special guest star The Flash (John Wesley Shipp) - and presumably provide some much-needed backstory on this season's seemingly unbeatable big bad.

No budget left for Wildcats costume?

@OldMan - well technically his costume is just a black leotard but I get what your saying, it does look cheap.

@OldMan - Solomon Grundy looked off. Would've preferred they just got a big guy and spraypainted him white.

@WruceBayne - The Wildcat suit is supposed to accomodate with the body of the user in this version, so maybe something of it must to do with that. Personally I think he looks like a tough guy, seeing him in some other action scene that isn't the ISA ambush would be cool.

@KWilly - She is like the only one who can defeat Shade (technically), so yeah.

@UXASIS - Shade is currently injured and apparently trapped in his own realm, the Shadowlands with Charles McNider after he couldn't do much either against Eclipso. If Jade's GL powers are magic themed as in the comics then she can help against Eclipso, he is the real threat.

@NinnesMBC - I wonder if Shade could become a villain, probably not the main villain of this season, but he also defeated the JSA pretty easily.

Also, I love his accent, so I want him back :D

@KWilly - Thank god I'm not the only one wondering this. She was the main reason I was hyped for this season and she's basically been sidelined for most of it. Have they even mentioned where she is?

@UXASIS - Belated response so sorry about this but there always exists the possibility he becomes a JSA bad guy after Eclipso is done for. He did say the former ISA's interests and his own merged at some point in the past, hence why he joined them but appeared to desert once he heard about Icicle's "lunatic plan to save the world".

Eclipso is something he considers evil and that takes priority over anything else so he didn't care much about the JSA and their threats and only envisioned "working with them" if they knew where the Black Diamond was. Once this is over he might go back to being a shady bad guy Courtney and the others will keep an eye out, pesonally I would not mind if he clashes with them later on.

I also like his accent haha, he is a fun character isn't he?

@Himura - To be fair she was never listed as a series regular so her lack of screentime was probably a little predictible, but to answer your question she will appear in next week's episode, 2x10.

@NinnesMBC - This hopefully isn't his end, he could still become a major threat.

I just don't feel it this season because Eclipso takes the whole cake as a superior, more powerful villain.

But yeah, he could lead a new ISA.

This season is supposed to have 13 episodes, so we will probably only see the defeat of Eclipso.

My other opinion is that Shade might merge with the Black Diamond making two villains into one. Not a bad idea, but it should not become too repetetive.
