The CW has released another sneak peek from the second season 2 episode of Supergirl, which introduces Ian Gomez as Lucas "Snapper" Carr. This character actually started out as the teenage "mascot" of the Justice League of America back in the '50s, but he's been re-imagined here as the editor-in-chief of CatCo Magazine, and Kara's new boss.

Tyler Hoechlin's Clark Kent also features in the clip, as he accompanies his cousin to the office, making Cat Grant's day a lot brighter in the process.

CADMUS attacks National City with a kryptonite powered villain who ends up seriously hurting Supergirl (Melissa Benoist). Superman (guest star Tyler Hoechlin) blames Hank (David Harewood) because the kryptonite was stolen from the DEO. Meanwhile, Kara’s first day at her new job doesn’t go as planned after she meets her new boss, Snapper Carr (guest star Ian Gomez). Glen Winter directed the episode written by Robert Rovner & Caitlin Parrish.

Supergirl is a good show, and if you haven't watched it all, then don't give your shitty opinion.

So now we have a Superman that acts like Superman. Are we going to get a Batman on tv that doesn't slaughter security guards just doing their jobs?

@EdgeLordJoker - Did he kill security guards? I always felt the same about the airport scene in the Matrix

I would love it if Kara was more confident and strong as a person. Same way in John Byrnes The Man Of Steel showed Clark Kent is the person and Superman is what he does, something similar should apply to her. Going to watch a couple of episodes and give it another go.

Does Hoechlin just walk around with a perma-smile plastered on his face? What Fun!!! Maybe he'll save some kitten from trees next week.

@RorMachine - A lot of it is a blatant reaction to BVS's dour Superman. The answer is that the vest portrayal is somewhere between Reeves Superman and Cavills Superman in MOS.
