With The Flash set to appear on Supergirl next month, it feels very much like The CW, and CBS are testing the waters for more possible crossovers between these very different parts of the DC Multiverse in the near future (much of that will obviously depend on the Girl of Steel getting a second season). However, should another of these take place, it would be nice to see Green Arrow get involved too, not to mention various other familiar faces from the Arrowverse. Is Stephen Amell interested? Well, in a recent interview with IGN, the actor made it clear that he definitely is.
"In this iteration of the DC Universe, the 'Television Universe' as it were, I'm the guy that's been around the longest, so I always feel -- whether I'm on a show or I'm not on a show -- I always feel as though I can in some way, shape or form represent them, and I always want them to be wildly successful and last for many more years than we end up lasting, because I just want to see people have success. So I would love to go over to Supergirl. That would be a blast, if for no other reason than I miss shooting in Los Angeles."
The Arrow and Supergirl franchises don't quite fit together as well as the latter does with The Flash, but Oliver Queen meeting Kara Danvers would no doubt be a lot of fun. Whether or not it will actually ever happen remains to be seen of course, but hopefully it's something both networks are open to down the line. Supergirl's rating have been steady after all, but if for some reason CBS didn't pick up another season, then I wouldn't mind betting that Kara could somehow wind up in DC's Legends of Tomorrow eventually!
