Here we have a promo poster and synopsis for the May 15 episode of Supergirl, which will see the return of Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant.

Plus, a new clip from tonight's installment, "City of Lost Children", has been released. In it, Jimmy Olsen dons the guise of Guardian to rescue a civilian from a couple of thugs, but winds up scaring the crap out of her in the process. Maybe he should soften that Christian Bale Batman voice a little?

CAT GRANT RETURNS - Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) grapples with whether or not to obey the President's (guest star Lynda Carter) orders regarding Rhea's (guest star Teri Hatcher) latest actions. Meanwhile, Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart) returns to National City. Millicent Shelton directed the episode written by Jessica Queller & Derek Simon (#221). Original airdate 5/15/2017.

The only time I see anything from these CW show is when I'm writing up an article about them, and I always end up laughing at how bad the clips are. Do they release the worst scenes on purpose?:)

More than his ass-kicking and gray colors of his suit, it is the fact that this is a city (or an Earth) where heroes don't wear masks. Superman and Supergirl both show their faces and allow people to feel closer to them or safe or relate maybe even.

Jimmy may have ditched hiding behind a camera but he's been hiding behind a mask now instead.

He has to show his face to become more than just Guardian now.

C'mon, I can feel the epiphany of the character development coming.

And I like that dramatic sound effect at the end of the video, first I heard it in Arrow. They should swap it every now and then with all shows.

Ahhh I hate that shit. Where the masked hero saves someone who about to get mugged or worse and then the victim is scared of the hero. There's no sense or logic behind that.
