SUPERMAN & LOIS: It's Time For A Showdown In The New Promo For The Season 1 Finale: "Last Sons of Krypton"

Next week, this outstanding freshman season of Superman & Lois comes to a close with an epic final hour that will see the Man of Steel square off against Tal-Rho to save Jordan and the world at large.

With Jordan's (Alexander Garfin) life hanging in the balance, next week's season finale will see Clark Kent (Tyler Hoechlin) finally do what he must to finally bring an end to Tal-Rho's (Morgan Edge) reign of terror, which means we should probably brace ourselves for one of the most epic battles in DC TV history.

The episode will surely feature plenty of Kryptonian vs. Kryptonian action, but the photos reveal some happier times as the Kent and Cushing families come together for a barbecue, although whether it's a flashback or a spoiler of the battle's aftermath remains to be seen.

Former The Flash star Tom Cavanagh is directing the final hour, utilizing a screenplay from Brent Fletcher & Todd Helbing. While this will be the first episode Cavanagh has directed for the series, he has previously helmed three episodes of his flagship series.

@solskulldeath - yeah a lot of actor directed episodes this year. Guessing its because of the pandemic.

Not expecting Charlie or Amaya to show up on Legends, but her actress is directing an episode soon.

Great setup for the finale with this episode. Interested to see how Jonathon's character turns out with his increased interest in advance weaponry.

@ModHaterSLADE - This is gonna be an odd sounding comment lol but I absolutely love how Jonathan's hair is reminiscent of John Schneider from Smallville.

@bigdannymac - Same. I commented that back when the pilot aired on the show's Twitter account, his actor just looks so much to what Jonathan Schneider's own Jonathan Kent would've looked liked as a young man in the Smalville series haha. Maybe that was some inspired choice for the casting of this Jonathan.
