It is unfortunately agreed upon that before its conclusion, CW's, The Flash's, current roster of members making up Team Flash was looking excpetionally bleak - it also never got better as the show progressed.

Chester P. Runk, Cecile Horton, Khione, and everyone's favorite, Allegra Garcia.

First introduced way back in Season 6, Allegra Garcia was a comic book character created a few years prior, by new showrunner at the time, Eric Wallace.

Allegra never served any true purpose to the team - neither to the show, outside of using her UV-ray abilities to stop Ramsey Russo's (Bloodwork's) dark matter blood infection during the first half of Season 6.

From there, Allegra has awkwardly been hanging around the show; often times undergoing very small ventures of her own storylines, and even smaller doses of character development.

However, a new deleted-scene from The Flash Season 9 Blu-Ray & DVD set, features Allegra Garcia speaking on Iris West-Allen's 'Citizentopia' podcast in the series finale, where she reveals herself to the world as Central City's newest crime-fighting meta human known as... Wavelength.

While the name is not great... or, let's be honest, not good; this deleted-scene surprisingly serves as a nice introduction to Allegra's crime-fighting meta human journey after The Flash has ended.

Even though Allegra does not have any value to Team Flash - outside of being just Chester P. Runk's boyfriend; focusing on her abilities more, instead of the whole will-they-won't-they cliche between Chester would have initially made Allegra a more compelling character on The Flash, had the show addressed this matter before.

Do you like this deleted-scene from The Flash Season 9?

At 11, Barry Allen's life changed completely when his mother died in a freak accident and his innocent father was convicted of her murder. Orphaned Barry later becomes Detective Joe West. Now a crime-scene investigator, his dedication to learn the truth about his mother's death drives him to follow up on every new scientific advancement and urban legend.

When his latest obsession - a particle accelerator heralded as a world-changing invention - causes an explosion, it creates a freak storm and Barry is struck by lightning. He awakes from a coma nine months later with the power of superspeed. When he learns that others who have gained powers use them for evil, he dedicates himself to protecting the innocent, while still trying to solve the older mystery.

So many pointless characters in the show by the end

Really by the end, Barry got so little focus, even he was a pointless character

@ShimmyShimmyYA - had a flawed but pretty good 4th season (they overpowered the big bad, out of place humor, unsatisfying villain defeat)

After that its complete garbage.

Mediocre big bads with weak motivation, with 1 exception.

And usually they throw in a reverse flash plotline to keep people interested

@ShimmyShimmyYA - season 4 had him fight the thinker who's plan was to make the world dumb.

Season 5 had them team up with Barry's future daughter to fight a once a week villain they somehow struggled with all season.

Season 6 was cool with bloodwork and the set up for crisis, but was just kinda meandering afterwards

Season 7 ended the finale of season 6 (covid) then made the different forces into pointless characters.

Season 8 did all the forces nonsense but now with the negative forces and gave reverse flash a terrible send off.

Season 9 was all build up to Eddie thawne returning as a new speedster only for a rushed finale and a non ending to the series

Off topic: Another Disney fan fiction movie, but this time it's from the director who just took a shit all over Indiana Jones.
Then three more movies starring Rey Palpatine.
Yaaaaaaay.

@Feralwookiee - uh,

They said they were done with the saga and they were moving onto new stuff and what do they do? Announce a trilogy focused on the main character of the last trilogy.

Might as well just call them 10,11 and 12

Heres hoping its actually good.

At the very least it will actually have a cohesive story if he is doing all 3

@dracula -
"At the very least it will actually have a cohesive story if he is doing all 3"

As far as I can tell Mangold is JUST doing the one pre-pre-prequel set way before ANH, and someone else (or likely multiple someone elses) is/are directing the Rey Palpatine movies, so don't count on a cohesive story.
This is Disney we're talking about here! 🤪

Season 1&2 were dope. Then it got silly. I walked away. When I came back over half of the damn cast had superpowers. It became a mess of Characters and storylines. I was out.

@DarthOmega - I stop watching Arrow (along with Flash, Legends, Supergirl,
etc.) after Justice League came out in theaters back in '17. Plus, I was worn
out on all these shows and their characters & also the headaches that the
direction it was going along with the people and the shippers on social media
who defended this mediocrity that I’ve invested my time watching these shows
from 2012-17. (To put it metaphorically, I was Oliver, the shows was the
island, watched it for 5 years until I got off.) So, I’ve severed ties, washed
my hands with the Arrowverse and walk away.
