The CW has released new plot descriptions for upcoming episodes in their DC TV slate, for the week beginning May 8th.

Starting on Monday night, we'll be getting a very Guardian-centric episode of Supergirl as the plot follows Jimmy after he discovers a young boy named Marcus, played by guest star Lonnie Chavis (This Is Us), that may hold the key to stopping recent alien attacks on National City. Then on Tuesday night's episode of The Flash, Barry will take desperate measures to stop Savitar while Killer Frost will return with an enticing offer for her former friends.

On Wednesday, things get really interesting on Arrow as it looks like Oliver (and Felicity) may have to face the music for the rash decision they made a few weeks back to unveil Prometheus' identity to the general public as all of Adrian Chase's past cases are now thrown out, which means some of Star City's worst are back on the streets.

Check out the new plot synopses below:

"City of Lost Children" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

"THIS IS US" LONNIE CHAVIS GUEST STARS - When an alien attacks National City, Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and the DEO learn the alien is a Phorian, an otherwise peaceful race with telekinetic powers. Guardian (Mehcad Brooks) gets a lead on the Phorian's address but instead of finding the culprit, he finds a very scared boy named Marcus (guest star Lonnie Chavis). Marcus will only trust James so it is up to Guardian to stop the attacks on the city. Rhea's (Teri Hatcher) plan escalates. Ben Bray directed the episode with story by Robert Rovner and teleplay by Gabriel Llanas & Anna Musky-Goldwyn (#220). Original airdate 5/8/2017.

"Cause and Effect" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, LV) (HDTV)

DRASTIC TIMES CALL FOR DRASTIC MEASURES - Barry (Grant Gustin) takes drastic measures to stop Savitar. Meanwhile, H.R. (Tom Cavanagh) continues to push Tracy Brand (guest star Anne Dudek) to design the trap for Savitar and Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) returns with an interesting proposal. David McWhirter directed the episode written by Judalina Neira & Lauren Certo (#321). Original airdate 5/9/2017.

"Honor Thy Fathers" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, LV) (HDTV)

CHASE CONTINUES TO TORMENT OLIVER - Oliver (Stephen Amell) returns to the mayor's office and faces one of his most pressing issues yet - the forced release of dozens of violent criminals prosecuted by Adrian Chase (Josh Segarra). Meanwhile, a crate is delivered to Oliver's office containing a mysterious corpse encased in concrete. Laura Belsey directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Sarah Tarkoff (#521). Original airdate 5/10/2017.

Supergirl has a catch there IMO and Jimmy might be walking into a trap when it comes to that boy. To quote Star Wars "I have a bad feeling about this"...Rhea's plan sounds intriguing and I bet Mon-El will be feeling conflicted on what to do.

The Flash sounds very cool and I dig the title. It seems Killer Frost has become one hell of a recurring villain in the final episodes. Bring it on.

Arrow sounds messed up haha, Adrian is insane. I bet th corpse could be of Robert which might hint that Adrian fled to Lian Yu which is where Oliver buried and and thus setting the Season finale.

@bigdannymac - Nope it doesn't look like one to me at all. It's the current one. Maybe it looks different since it was taken on daylight.

Hoping for a new one in Season 6 though!

Killer Frost is so freakin' hot that anytime I see articles use a photo of her, it makes me almost wish I bothered with the DC television universe.

@ConnorHawkeye - didnt Robert shoot himself in the face? If so that will be pretty closed-casket.

@scapegoatjones - yeah, true, I was kind of thinking dark about it and saying it was like robert shooting himself in the head.

It could be his corpse, or a step further to being shado's corpse, to start a conflict between olliver and deathstroke when they try to fight him

they were good, and with GRider it was nice to see Diz/Marvel throw them a legit character. idk about fantastic. fantastic would be if they did that all the time.
