DC TV Roundup - New Previews For THE FLASH: ARMAGEDDON; BATWOMAN, & LEGENDS OF TOMORROW

While Supergirl may have flown off into the sunset, next week will mark the return of The CW's flagship DC series, The Flash, which is set to kick off its five-part "Armageddon" event with an action-packed hour that will see the Scarlet Speedster (Grant Gustin) team-up with The Atom (Brandon Routh) to take on his most dangerous threat yet: Despero (Tony Curran).

Meanwhile, it sounds like the Legends of Tomorrow will finally get back to their time travel shenanigans, but Dr. Gwen Davies (Matt Ryan) may still need to work out a few kinks in his time machine, as it strands the team in the middle of a forest in an uncertain time period and things aren't looking up when they discover their close proximity to Chernobyl.

Then, on Batwoman, it looks like Poison Ivy (Bridget Regan) may finally be ready to make her debut when Ryan (Javicia Leslie) and Batwing (Camrus Johnson) investigate the latest Bat Trophy, which may have a thorny connection to the iconic DC Comics villain.

@bobevanz - going to have to recast a few roles but cool.

would be nice if they do some crossover with older marvel shows

90's Spiderman
90's Fantastic Four
90's Iron Man
90's Hulk

The other 3 were nowhere near on par with Spiderman and X men but could be cool

Guess I'll stay up to date with Flash then. I haven't started the latest season of Legends yet.

@THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - suit is nice, helmet is terrible. seriously if its because of the actor's hair, then get it down. Mister Terrific's actor got his hair down whenever he suited up

I ... didn't recognize that was Matt Ryan until he started speaking. I knew it was him but at the same time I just didn't. Man grows an epic beard.

Hopefully this team up is fun. After the last 2 seasons of Flash under this showrunner, my hopes are not high.

Not sure about the new format, Legends isn't really exciting me this season. Despite season 4,5 and 6's problems they had cool set up with magical creatures, escaped souls and aliens. time traveling robots, while spending 4 episodes wandering around one time period doesn't give the same hype.

Don't care about Batwoman

Supergirl's finale was just so hallow. Is it just me or for season 5 and 6, Kara got nothing to do outside of just being supergirl. Everyone but her got their own personal stories. was cool to see some cgi characters but it was pretty uneventful and Lex's defeat was laughably bad. Show peaked at season 4.

this seasons dc shows id rank

Superman and Lois season 1
Sweet Tooth season 1
Star Girl Season 2
Doom Patrol Season 3
Black Lightning Season 4
Supergirl Season 6
Flash Season 7
Titans season 3
Batwoman season 2

I'm gonna watch the Armageddon cross-over because I still like the CW cross-overs, but damn... Brandon deserves a better suit. The current one just looks a little clucky (but still better than most other CW suits coughBatwingcough)

Arrowverse crossovers are always fun and have a good track record so I'm looking forward to what happens in these 5 part episodes.

TVLine also published an interview with Grant Gustin and it teases what could be the cause of the apocalyptic event teased in the title, how much of a crossover it will start to feel the more it goes and even alternative timelines.

As for Batwoman I've been hearing some juicy spoilers about last night episode so I really have to catch up.

It's always nice to see Matt Ryan even if he's playing now an original character.
