Team Flash took a major hit tonight and next week, Barry seeks vengeance! It's the Flash vs. Zoom in a battle of epic proportions and there's no guarantee either of them make it out alive (although considering season 3 is already in the works, there's a pretty good chance Barry walks away from the battle intact, but that doesn't mean he'll walk away unscathed). Check out the promo for the season finale below:

THE FLASH VS. ZOOM – After Zoom (guest star Teddy Sears) reveals his true plan, Barry (Grant Gustin) vows to do whatever it takes to stop him. Antonio Negret directed the episode written by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing (#223).

Last year, the S.T.A.R. Labs Particle Accelerator exploded, creating a dark matter storm that struck forensic scientist Barry Allen — bestowing him with super-speed and making him the fastest man alive. But Barry wasn’t the only person who was given extraordinary abilities that night. The dark matter also created meta-humans — many of whom have wreaked havoc on the city. With the help of the S.T.A.R Labs team, Caitlin Snow, Cisco Ramon and Dr. Harrison Wells, Barry protects the people of Central City from these powerful new threats as The Flash. Following the defeat of Allen's arch-nemesis Eobard Thawne (aka Reverse Flash), Team Flash must quickly turn their attention to the singularity swirling high above Central City, consuming everything in its path. Armed with the heart of a hero and the ability to move at super speeds, Barry charged into the eye of the singularity, but can he actually save his city from impending doom?

The Flash features:
Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/Flash
Candice Patton as Iris West
Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow
Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon
Tom Cavanagh as Dr. Harrison Wells
Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West
John Wesley Shipp as Henry Allen
Michelle Harrison as Nora Allen
Teddy Sears as Hunter Zolomon/Zoom
Tony Todd as voice of Zoom
Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West
Shantel VanSanten as Patty Spivot
Violett Beane as Jesse Quick

The Flash returns May 24

Doesn't matter what happened tonight, because the 1990 Flash is named Jay Garrick on Earth 3 or 4 (the 1990 CBS Earth) and is the man in the Iron Mask.

I thought Wally's car being silver and red was cool too and I hope we see his New 52 costume next season.

@SKOne - I believe so as well. That way it can be a huge reveal for Barry in the finale. He gets his father back as a mentor, but not really.

@SKOne - I agree with ya. Also it wasn't shocking at all that Henry died since his character arc reached an end.

P.S. I hate Wally, what an annoying little shit he is.

@Space - I kind of agree about Wally based on how he has been written so far, but I think he will get better like Iris does when he has more to do. I also think there is a small chance that a retired version of the red-headed Wally West might exist on Supergirl's Earth (Earth-10 years after Justice League or whatever), but that's probably wishful thinking.

@SKOne - yup 90s flash is the man in the iron mask. Only reason they would show him in the wormhole.

@Space - Anybody else finds his arc (Wally) is following Roy's exactly?
-Gets saved from the hero
-Is grateful & want to give back
-Stubborn about letting up
-Eventually becomes the sidekick.
Roy becomes Arsenal.... Wally will become Kid Flash

Killing Henry was weak on the writers's part. They failed to set up a huge story so they pull that obvious crap. A cheap, easy way to act like something huge happened when it didn't.
