New Extended Promo For THE FLASH Season 2 Episode 22: "Invincible"

"While you're playing the good little boy, I'll be busy winning." - It looks like Barry's made it back just in the nick of time as Zoom unleashes an army of meta-humans on Central City, led by Laurel Lance's Earth-2 doppelgänger, the Black Siren. Meanwhile, seeing that Barry has his hands full, Wally decides to lend a helping hand, which of course doesn't fly with his father. Check out the new extended promo below:

KATIE CASSIDY GUEST STARS AS BLACK SIREN – After Zoom (guest star Teddy Sears) unleashes an army of Earth-2 meta-humans on Central City, Barry (Grant Gustin) is shaken when he sees their leader is the Black Canary’s Earth-2 doppelganger, the Black Siren (guest star Katie Cassidy). Meanwhile, Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) takes to the streets to help The Flash stop the meta-humans, which worries Joe (Jesse L. Martin). Iris (Candice Patton) and Henry (guest star John Wesley Shipp) are concerned about Barry taking on Zoom. Jesse Warn directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Brooke Roberts & David Kob (#222).

Last year, the S.T.A.R. Labs Particle Accelerator exploded, creating a dark matter storm that struck forensic scientist Barry Allen — bestowing him with super-speed and making him the fastest man alive. But Barry wasn’t the only person who was given extraordinary abilities that night. The dark matter also created meta-humans — many of whom have wreaked havoc on the city. With the help of the S.T.A.R Labs team, Caitlin Snow, Cisco Ramon and Dr. Harrison Wells, Barry protects the people of Central City from these powerful new threats as The Flash. Following the defeat of Allen's arch-nemesis Eobard Thawne (aka Reverse Flash), Team Flash must quickly turn their attention to the singularity swirling high above Central City, consuming everything in its path. Armed with the heart of a hero and the ability to move at super speeds, Barry charged into the eye of the singularity, but can he actually save his city from impending doom?

The Flash features:
Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/Flash
Candice Patton as Iris West
Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow
Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon
Tom Cavanagh as Dr. Harrison Wells
Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West
John Wesley Shipp as Henry Allen
Michelle Harrison as Nora Allen
Teddy Sears as Hunter Zolomon/Zoom
Tony Todd as voice of Zoom
Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West
Shantel VanSanten as Patty Spivot
Violett Beane as Jesse Quick

The Flash returns May 17

I can't believe I'm saying this.

I want Kevin Smith to direct more Flash episodes. That is probably the best thing he's ever directed since Clerks.

Well it is a CW show so they will probably kill off Iris and have Barry fall in love with Cisco!

good episode
a little to much talk?maybe?for my tastes but it was cool.
keep Kevin Smith away from the directing chair, dude lost his edge years ago while smoking tons of weed and loosing his credibility making hollywood gossip shows.

Kevin Smith directed the shit out of this episode.. It was just a crappy episode to have him direct, it didn't seem bad just too much dialogue in the episode. Smith is used to directing scenes/movies with a lot of dialogue so it wasn't bad. Just felt like they had Barry wrap it up to fast when they could've cut back on some speed force puberty time and had Barry do more to defeat Zombie Metal Guy. Feel like Smith would've made some good Earth 2 episodes.

Katie Cassidy had more chemistry in that one moment with Teddy Sears than she did in 4 years with Stephen Amell. The Barry-Iris thing was DOA from the beginning. Don't know where they're going but they don't need to go there.

Those scenes with Barry in the Speed Force reminded of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine when Sisko would talk to the Prophets in the Wormhole.
