Waiting to see Patty suit up. I keep picturing Barry, Jay, Wally, Patty, FS and GA side by side against Zoom in my head and it's glorious.

The Flash series is spending too much time setting up Legends. It's killing the fun just like the Marvel movies that exist just to promote future Marvel movies. Another problem is the show is starting to look too CW. CW style casting, CW cheap sets and CW dialog. Final shot of Wells was generic CW style crap.

Iris' mother is alive thing had better have a good reason for being there or it's pure soap shit out of left field.

The episode was OK but somehow it feels like season 2 can't start because they have to set up Legends first.

^^maybe that's going to be the Flash/Arrow crossover episodes. So we just gotta wait for episode. I'd be cool to see Barry utilize the Speed Canon in battle.

Gal, though not my first choice for the role, IS DEFINITELY KILLING IT AS WW. Her casting may left people wondering if it's the correct choice by Snyder, but after seeing her in costume, and how she moves on the trailer, SHE IS WONDER WOMAN to me now. Her acting is of little concern to me, cause she can be trained to act, and she can build some muscles even more as time goes on. She can gain more experience and practice from playing the role from here on out. Evans' Captain America, as experience as he is as an actor, didn't really nail the part that much in his First movie, but he finally became the Cap that we knew and love from the comics by the time Winter Soldier came around. So who's to say Gadot can't evolve in her role, as with Henry Cavill. She must have done something in her audition to earn her that coveted role. Snyder and co must have seen something in her, and in Snyder, I trust.. At the very least, Snyder nailed her aesthetics.. Bravo to the magazine cover, everyone looked their part.

Fantastic episode. But I miss happy Barry. This season Barry is being out-of-character cocky/show boating. It's a bit too Wally West. If you notice Teddy Sears next to Grant Gustin... You can picture Teddy as Barry and Grant as Wally.

Wentworth Miller finally managed to dial it back in this episode. He was actually pretty good

I don't know how many people noticed it but I loved the nod to Smallville by casting him as her father again like they did in Smallville (General Sam Lane and Lucy Lane)

Here's my top moments that stood out from last night:

1. Iris/Joe - I was really relieved that the writers didn't make Iris freak out on her dad. If my dad told me my mom was a drug-addict that left me and he made up all the memories I have of her to make me feel loved and protected, I would also not blame him. Seeing Joe breakdown like that almost had me in tears too. I wanted to hug him too.

Also, seeing Iris use her dial-a-superhero card was pretty cool too. It really looks like they are heading towards a more tough-journo-Iris rather than a Moaning-Myrtle-Iris.

2. Jay Garrick - I think it just hit me in this episode how much Teddy Sears resembles Jay Garrick. To me it's like Jay Garrick escaped from the comics and is running around Hollywood land pretending to be Teddy Sears. Maybe it's just me but that really caught my attention last night.

3. Captain Cold - I really liked him in this. I don't know much about Cold apart from his appearances in the Justice League comics and the animated movies/shows but I felt that this was the first time we really got to see Miller as Cold and he was great.

4. Let's not ignore that total comic book moment when Captain Cold FROZE THE LASERS and where Pa Cold made the techie's head explode, Amanda Waller style - those where actually really awesome scenes! It's like the writers are reminding us that we are still watching a comic book show.

5. And then the last moment was seeing Wells. I'm really curious to know if they'll make him a baddie again. he does it so well but I'd like to see him play the role of mentor and friend to Barry again. Let Barry get to know the real Wells, even if it is Earth 2 Wells.

At this point I find Arrow and Flash on par with each other. They just compliment each other so well and I have a feeling LoT will be something in between.

@nomis Gadot looks great here! Check those thighs! She's definitely not the skinny model everyone b*tched about. Hope the new trailer show off a bit more of her.

@Supafairy

I think Well's going to help. They are giving the appearance of Well's being menacing. But when a open portal is sitting in star labs on both Earth 1 and Earth2 you know Genius Wells is going to want to explore. He will probably have a whole different demeanor than season 1. But then again who knows...

@JediPhilosopher I mentioned it in a previous comment but I thought that was supercool (no pun intended). It's almost as ridiculous as the boxing glove arrow but we all loved it because it was a great nod to the comic books. Just a reminder that we are indeed watching a COMIC BOOK show and that shit like this happens in the comics.

@AsapJoker They have a couple of good sets from last year. The new sets aren't so good. The Wells shot was generic. I forgot about the Loki scene and that makes it more of a borrowed, generic shot.
