Time travel has rarely been kind to Barry, with his most recent trip to the past proving to be his worst decision yet as it created Flashpoint and brought with it a whole new set of problems.

However, despite all his issues in the past, he's never attempted a trip to the future, but with the situation with Iris direr than it's ever been before, he must head for the year 2024 where he'll hopefully learn the secrets behind Savitar's identity from future Barry and future Cisco. Plus, it looks like we might be seeing the Mirror Master again as well as a long overdue new costume for the Scarlet Speedster!

@ForDarkseid - I thought the same thing when I first saw the trailer last night. Emo Barry. So emotional.

Barry doesn't need longer hair to be in a total emo mode.

I hate breaks, who could Savitar be?
MeAreLegend
MeAreLegend - 3/29/2017, 9:29 AM
Also It could also be that Savitar is just... Savitar!

And he may also exist in a loop!

So Savitar kills Iris and then gets locked up by Barry after Iris dies (we got that from Adakadabra). Then he is stuck in the Speedforce until he gets out in 3x15. Then later he kills Iris again and so on.
MeAreLegend
MeAreLegend - 3/29/2017, 9:36 AM
@MeAreLegend - barry could also be savitar.

Maybe the reason he kills Iris is to prevent himself from being erased from existence. So Savitar kills Iris, driving Barry insane. Then he gets in contact with the stone due to his depression. He then goes to after Iris dies and thats when Barry locks Savitar up. (Which could also be why Barry doesnt just go back in time to save Iris; if he did Savitar migh not be trapped) Hes then stuck in the speedforce and starts to attack Team Flash, setting off S3 events. Then he switches places with wally and gets out. Then he kills Iris and the whole thing happens again, in a constant loop
Faris
Faris - 3/29/2017, 9:44 AM
Guys, it's official! Saitar is really Barry's time remnant from when he was fighting Zoom. He didn't die, he just got trapped in the Speed Force, where he went totally mad.
MeAreLegend
MeAreLegend - 3/29/2017, 11:00 AM
@Faris - Its not official. Also, that wouldnt be so interesting since Barrys Time Reminant didnt have any real significance character wise. I would love it more if Savitar was just Savitar and that he exists in a loop. *Now THAT* would beinteresting

Barry could also be Savitar but then the thing wouldnt line up with the loop. I still kind of believe its barry and it makes totally sense

What an episode that was tonight.

This scene being one of it's highlights.

MeAreLegend
MeAreLegend - 3/29/2017, 10:56 AM
@NinnesMBC - What makes this even better is that barry did that without the teams help. It was his own idea and the team didnt give him a pep talk or instructions on what to do.

I really hope that the team plays a minor role in Season 4

@MeAreLegend - @NinnesMBC This is the kind of shit that happens when the Main Writers comeback, the best episodes this season has been written by Andrew Kringsberg or the Helbing brothers, such a shame they are now Executive Producers.

Flashpoint, Paradox, Killer Frost, Invasion!, The Present, Attack on Gorilla City, The Wrath of Savitar, Duet and now Abra Kadabra.

This episode was pretty great, i only needed some kind of Excuse for Wally being missing for almost all the Episode, like "i was in college or in the middle of this big test" and then it would have become a perfect episode for me...

Because that is the kind of shit i want, if we dont need someone in a episode, just dont put that person in the episode until we need him to play a big role.

And that excuse being missed is clearly fault of the screenwriters Brooke Roberts & David Kob, but well at less Barry defeat the main bad guy of the episode by himself for second time in the season.

They had the ability to make that costume and we haven't seen it until now. For shame. Next episode looks like a blast!
AleSir19
AleSir19 - 3/29/2017, 1:27 PM
@TheUnworthyThor - This show and almost all the live adaptions of Comic Books have this kind of "cliffhanger" were they slowly develop our main hero from the ground to what we know he will become.

Almost all the TV Shows that adapt Superheroes have done this kind of thing, is the only way they have to develop the characters.

They didnt give the Flash all his abilities from once, they slowly teach him through Harrison Wells each ability, we alredy knew from the comics until he became an Inmature Version of the Flash we know in the comics.

In Season 2, they really didnt teach him anything or even worst Barry didnt really use never anything that Eobard teach him to stop Zoom, he only used the powers Zoom teach him to use, Throw a Lightning and create a Time Remanent.

The same happen with the Suit, we alredy know all the kind of suits the Flash have and how they look, so clearly this is their way of slowly developing the character.

First Barry uses a modified Firefighter suit, they later add the emblem with a red background, later with a white background and more lightnings, now it is time for almost the final Suit.

Because Barry is finally becoming who he is in the comics.
TheUnworthyThor
TheUnworthyThor - 3/29/2017, 1:56 PM
@AleSir19 - But the suit doesn't make the character. And Supergirl started with a grace costume from day one and it's worked out great. She actually develops inner character traits. And it's not like I'm mad or anything, it just seems less than ideal to have this goofy looking suit if you had the ability to make great looking ones. But hey now it's something to look forward to.
AleSir19
AleSir19 - 3/29/2017, 3:28 PM
@TheUnworthyThor - They really didnt had the money either, you have seen the CGI they used in Season 1 or the Pilot? It was really bad.

This Season they have used heavily CGI sequences in almost all the episodes, for example in Season 1 we never got to expect to see Abra Kadabra flying in a time machine around Central City and Barry phasing inside the machine to take him out.

But now we saw it, so is one of that things, The CW now knows this shows make a "bunch of money" and every once and then they can spend some big load of money making a suit for a big character.
AleSir19
AleSir19 - 3/29/2017, 3:31 PM
@TheUnworthyThor - For me with Supergirl happen the other side of the coin, CBS expected a huge success they cast Melissa Benoist as the main character, Calista Flockhart as the mentor of the show.

They spend a bunch of money in bad quality CGI and making her a great suit because they expected this to be their big hit and the show was a failure for CBS standarts
TheUnworthyThor
TheUnworthyThor - 3/29/2017, 3:39 PM
@AleSir19 - If it was a money thing so be it, budgets are what they are, it just always seemed odd to me because we aren't talking about special effects for individual episodes, you make a real world suit and use it again and again, episode after episode, (or more precisely and more likely a few suits for varying purposes), but it's an easier and cheaper investment that can pay long term dividends. Again though the show has been fine without it and I've enjoyed it all along, so it's not a big gripe or anything, it's just to me a suit like that for most of the show would have made it just that much better,
AleSir19
AleSir19 - 3/30/2017, 5:38 AM
@TheUnworthyThor - Yes, the suit itself is pretty shitty, but until Legends of Tomorrow, Atom Suit and Firestorm suit the CW and the Producers of this shows didnt had done a really great or expensive suit.
TheAmarilloBlack
TheAmarilloBlack - 3/29/2017, 3:49 PM
LOL funny how that suit can get people back into the show

The Flash, STILL the best CBTS. Ever. Yeah, I said it.
(Some have argued for Walking Dead and Preacher, I'll defer to their wisdom as I have not watched them in their entirety, yet.)

Arrow has been really good this season too, but Mister Not-So-Terrific is still a thorn.

I just dont understand why every season has to have a twist-identity-reveal.

I mean I get it.
if bads just showed up twisting their mustaches and stating there identity and their plans it would get old quick.
at the same time how many times get team flash get hoodwinked with identities.
