THE FLASH Faces His Reverse In Reality-Bending New Promo For Season 9, Episode 10: "A New World, Part One"

After getting much-needed visits from Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), John Diggle (David Ramsey), and Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) on his birthday last week, this Wednesday's installment of The Flash will kick off the show's final run of episodes, which will be an epic four-parter.

The first of these final four episodes will see Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) mysteriously disappear to what appears to be a different reality where he apparently never existed! Things get even more confusing when he crosses paths with his parents Henry (John Wesley Shipp) and Nora (Michelle Harrison) as well as Joe (Jesse L. Martin), but there's a dark twist in store when the original Eobard Thawne (Matt Letscher) resurfaces.

Meanwhile, Iris (Candice Patton) reaches a career milestone, Khione (Danielle Panabaker) continues to figure out her powers, and Chester (Brandon McKnight) designs a super suit for Allegra (Kayla Compton).

Check out the new promo for episode nine, titled "Partners in Time," below:

The main cast of The Flash season nine features Grant Gustin ("Barry Allen/The Flash"), Candice Patton ("Iris West-Allen"), Danielle Panabaker ("Dr. Caitlin Snow"), Danielle Nicolet ("Cecile Horton"), Kayla Compton ("Allegra Garcia"), Brandon McKnight ("Chester P. Runk"), and Jon Cor ("Mark Blaine/Chillblaine").

These last 4 episodes will probably be the only ones most fans watch. Hope they can finish strong!

I sincerely hope we can get a PROPER Rogues Gallery for the finale and end with it feeling like the TRUE Flash show we were wanting in 2014.

Can grant write the finale? I really liked his idea of sacrificing himself to be part of the speed force then becoming the lightning bolt that gave him his powers originally.

@Origame - that’s the “chicken or the egg” paradox. Still cool though.

@WruceBayne - Since the silver age fans have been asking: Who would win in a race, the chicken or the egg?

Most say chicken, because obviously running fast is a thing they do, but I say egg. I mean with enough prep time, an egg could get someone to roll them. Like a superstar bowler or something. Then the egg would win, imo.

@ObserverIO - that’s absolutely ridiculous… of course the egg would win. The egg is equipped with a 250cc John Deer turbo engine with optional flux capacitor with recycling exhaust system for maximum output on and off land. 🤣

@WruceBayne - It'd win before the chicken even put one foot across the starting line. With that flux capacitor in effect, it'd even win before the egg (it's past self) began to roll. Then we'd have to ask who came first, the chicken or the egg or the egg? And it'd still be the egg!

This last season has been so directionless, I hope we at least get a strong finale.
