Ahead of tomorrow night's team-up with Amunet (Katee Sackhoff), the following week will see Team Flash make a quick run to Star City to get the help of the one-and-only John Diggle (David Ramsey), who based on the photos, isn't going to be particularly pleased with getting rushed to Central City without any advanced notice from Barry (Grant Gustin).

Meanwhile, it also looks like Barry will be going back out in the field with both Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and an unfrosty Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) with the latter sporting a neat new suit.

Check out new promotional stills from episode twenty-two, titled "Think Fast," below:

"Think Fast" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

DAVID RAMSEY GUEST STARS - When DeVoe assaults an A.R.G.U.S. facility to complete his Enlightenment Machine, Barry (Grant Gustin) realizes the only way he can stop him is if he allows Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) to accompany him into the facility. Still shaken by Ralph's death, Barry isn't sure he wants to risk any more of his friends' lives and considers taking on DeVoe solo. Viet Nguyen directed the episode written by Sam Chalsen & Kristen Kim (#422). Original airdate 5/15/2018.

Last season, Barry Allen aka The Flash used his extraordinary abilities to travel back in time and save his mother’s life, and inadvertently created an alternate timeline known as Flashpoint. The phenomenon not only gave birth to the villainous God of Speed known as Savitar, but changed the lives of Caitlin Snow and Wally West forever. With the help of his adoptive father, Detective Joe West, his fiancée Iris West, and his friends at S.T.A.R. Labs – Cisco Ramon and Harrison Wells -- Barry continues to protect the people of Central City from the meta-humans that threaten it. But first, he’ll have to escape the Speed Force – an extra-dimensional entity teeming with unknown dangers – that Barry sacrificed himself to in order to save Central City.

The Flash features:
Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash
Candice Patton as Iris West-Allen
Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost
Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon/Vibe
Tom Cavanagh as Dr. Harrison Wells
Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West
John Wesley Shipp as Henry Allen/Jay Garrick
Michelle Harrison as Nora Allen
Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West/Kid Flash
Violett Beane as Jesse Quick
Tom Felton as Julian Dorn
Danielle Nicolet as Cecille Horton
Hartley Sawyer as Ralph Dibny/Elongated Man
Neil Sandilands as Clifford DeVoe/The Thinker

The Flash returns with an all-new episode May 8

This show has lost so much steam, it's not even funny. They take away their best character in Elongated Man, and now these last few episodes feel like chores.

Hope the finale is worth the wait.

Hopefully its a good episode, but the signs are not looking good.

Anyways, looking forward to another hilarious Diggle/Barry moment:

[can't find any gif of Diggle throwing up after Barry grabs him :-(

@Nebula - out of curiosity, how would you rank all the Arrowverse shows this season? If you've been watching them...

@HeavyMetal4Life - Only watching The Flash atm. Haven't caught up on Legends or Supergirl yet. Haven't watched Arrow since S4.

@Nebula - Ahh gotcha. Well that sucks. Watching only Flash. You should catch up on Arrow too. Did you watch Black Lightning?

@HeavyMetal4Life - Not yet no. But I will do soon. 👍

@Nebula - I also dropped Arrow back during season four... My last episode was when Felicity literally walked out on Oliver after she found out that he hid his kid from her. Plus finding out that they killed off Earth-1 Laurel Lance, and keep teasing (but never doing) her revival have turned me off of watching the show.

The other three shows are amazing (from what I've seen). Flash is decent (could be better), Supergirl is alright (I need to catch up on the show "Both Sides Now" being the last episode I watched), and Legends has been the best Flarrowverse show this series.

@HeavyMetal4Life - They messed up continuity with Diggle. He doesn't throw up, when Barry speed runs him out to the park in order to marry Barry and Iris (Earth X episode).

Here's one of the aftermath:

@Luminus - I thought he did throw up in the park. He thought he wasn't but then he did. Unless I'm remembering incorrectly.

@HeavyMetal4Life - I think you're right. I was thinking about another episode. It was an Arrow episode, where Oliver called the Flash for quick help to get somewhere fast. Here it is, at the 0:38 mark:

The synopsis says Barry hesitates in bringing Cisco and Caitlin with him due to similar reasons of why Ralph was apprehensive of going after DeVoe, he puts their safety first before going up against someone so overpowered but it seems he lets them come along in the end based on the pictures.

Caitlin has grown a lot since S1. I don't think she's that easy to break like it was in the last 3 Seasons, throughout it all she's stayed strong even after losing Killer Frost and is now becoming her own hero before she finds the way back to her powers. I like it.

But I hope we get back her S3 costume next Season.

I bet they bring in Diggle to devise the strategy for DeVoe's final hijack. And since the narrative makes all the shows take place at the same time this one must take place before in Arrow they are all attacked by Diaz' last desperate attempt to kill all of Oliver's friends and family etc.

And this picture of The Thinker is cool.

One last ep to go before the Inception-inspired finale. I'm gonna rewatch the movie in preparation just in case.
