Matching wits with The Thinker, who by season’s end had harnessed the powers of all twelve bus metas he created, stretched Team Flash to their limits, but with the help of some new allies, Barry Allen (aka The Flash) and company were able to put a stop to the Enlightenment and save Central City once again. However, with the arrival of Barry and Iris’ speedster daughter, Nora, who arrived from the future admitting to having made a “big mistake,” things are anything but status quo. Will parenthood be the challenge that finally slows The Flash down?

How do you likely ruin a scene on the Flash?? Have it involve Killer Frost.

I like how Killer Frost shaped up a dagger just like Cicada's, must be to challenge him and show him she isn't afraid of him.

I am starting to view Cicada as a chaotic evil kind of character. He knows that what he is doing is wrong, so far takes no pleasure but it is necessary for the wellbeing of whatever world he wants to leave behind to his niece when/if she wakes up so he'll do whatever it takes to get rid of the metas at the cost of his own humanity and life. This is where his legacy theme starts to play but in, wait for it, reverse because he is slowly becoming that menace that no one in the future is able to ever stop.

He is not like S1 Thawne, E2 Zoom and Savitar/Future Flash who were all obsessed with either being the best and beat Barry and using him and his powers for their own ends and had these highbrow, higher-than-thou grandeur insane vibes to themselves. Nor is he drunk with power like DeVoe was and got derailed away from his own goal which was to change the way the world thought. Nope, Cicada is sane of his actions and that is interesting.

Looking forward how Barry fights him without holding back this time and just how everything goes down. Blood will be shed that's for sure.

I wonder if they'll adapt or pay tribute to this.

I just started Elseworlds. So far, this season of Flash is garbage. Flash has been getting his ass handed to him every episode for the past two seasons. The Thanksgiving and time travel episodes were the only good ones because they're the only ones where Flash actually did something. Nora is annoying as hell and I don't understand how she's not creating another Flashpoint scenario from all the problems she's caused. There should be hundreds of Time Wraiths after her ass for how much she's [frick]ing up the past.
Also any scene with Ralph or Cecile are completely useless and cringe worthy and I'm really sick of Caitlin's Killer Frost bullshit. Cicada feels like a throwaway villain of the week but somehow he's the main baddie of the season.

Arrow is so superior it's not even close.
