In this new promo for the season 4 premiere of The Flash, a bearded Barry Allen finally makes it home and is reunited with his fiancée Iris, who reassures him that everything is going to be okay.

Is it, though?

Cisco is eager for Barry to try on the new suit he created for him, but he should probably be more focused on his friend's new glowing eyes!

I really don't get why most think it is using WW's music or theme song, it isn't. But it is a great tune.

Fave part is when Barry's eyes glowed with the Speed Force as he turned around while he was doing something on the glass board.

Can't wait!

The thing that's driven me crazy with this show is that 1. there are so many speedsters, and 2. Barry always seems to be the slowest of them. I get it, that in the comics Wally becomes the greatest speedster down the road, but this show is about Barry and it's about time he really "levels up". Barry is the "creator" of the Speedforce in the more recent continuity and I think it's a pretty cool concept that they can play with. I'm tired of Barry coming up short or pining that he's not fast enough. Let him loose CW! Flash is one of the most powerful characters in all of comics, arguably the most powerful in the JL. When fully using his abilities, he's literally untouchable.

@bs77 - agreed. Tired of him not being able to get the job done, or needing to rely on other speedsters. I'm also tired of hearing him whine. Enough already.

@bs77 - Well in this version of the universe although he is the first in the timeline the people that are faster are people who subvert the timeline. Thawne is faster bc hes been a speedster for 20+ years and is from the future where his contemporary Barry IS faster, Zolomon was from another reality where again he has seemingly been a speedster longer and is kind of the equivalent of Barry in that particular universe he is the guy that got speed powers in that reality, and then Savitar literally is Barry in the future where he would of course be faster so there are clear reason as to why he is at a disadvantage

I'm still kinda hoping they upgrade Cisco's hair one of these days... he's a hilarious character and literally carries the show at times as the heart and humor of the team, but he still looks like a kid. They should do one of those manga spiky hairdos.

I like the color change for the intro Flash Logo...all red with the silver lining looks clean...Looks like Barry might come out the Speed Force faster too.

Haven't watched the last season of this, Arrow or Legends. Too many hours to catch up on. I really dug the shows before though, especially Arrow - is it worth jumping back on and catching up?
