Entertainment Weekly reports that The Vampire Diaries alum Susan Walters has joined the cast of The Flash season 3 as Caitlin Snow's mother, Dr. Carla Tannhauser. This character was first mentioned back in season 2 when Snow ran into her Earth-2 counterpart, Killer Frost.

According to the site, Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) doesn't have a very good relationship with her mom, who she regards as "cold and withholding". Tannhauser will be introduced as "a world class biomedical engineer and CEO of a major research company."

Expect some serious maternal meddling when The Flash returns on Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.

Seeing as soon we'll be seeing Caitlin's mother on the show, l wonder if we'll find out if she has any siblings next. If she does the Arrowverse execs should get Kay Panabaker for an episode.

So are they about to Felicity this? Gonna be the mom and daughter who continually dislike what each other do and the mother keeps hinting to the daughter to bang the rich guy. I have a feeling Harry will bang Caitlin Snow's mom.

While some may hate the movies (whether or not their intense burning hatred is justified idk), i love the cast.


Only question mark is Momoa, but i think he'll do fine under Wan

@2013venjix - that scene would've been way more crowd pleasing if they didn't already show more of the Flash actually doing Flash things in the JL Teaser.

Batman scenes were better. Flash's cameo felt thrown in there.

@slickrickdesigns - @Skwad I liked the Cameo, because it was cool they at less mention, this heroes have been doing something in his free time you know? Like save the world from Enchantress?

But i hate they didnt mention his name, it was like "A Metahuman", wait a second a metahuman, that is the Flash baby, you see Nick Fury saying "An Inhuman" when he refers to Captain America, no, shit no, he says Captain America.

Is time DC brings his A gam and not his shit. But i like the Batman cameos, it was like Batman in this universe stop everyone: Deathshot, Killer Croc, Harley Quinn.

@AleSir19 - i mean, the difference is metahuman is more broad, whereas inhuman is more general. Technically the flash at this point is just a nameless metahuman.

Boomerang did have a line about him being "a fast little red guy" i think.

I wish i loved the movie, but i liked it enough to say its a fun watch
