We've known for a while now that the trio would come back to the show at some point, but this confirms that they're part of the Speed Force when Barry Allen heads in there to rescue Wally West.

Eddie has gotta be Savitar.

@LordHarryLatts - can we make it through back to back episodes without Barry crying ?

@LordHarryLatts - Savitar's suit in close-ups wasn't CGI tonight. He looked kind of like a Power Rangers villain.

@LordHarryLatts - You act as if he's never cried in the comics.

I wouldn't say downhill but more like rinse wash and repeat. 10 to 1 Savitar is Barry or Eddie. They need to stop with the speedsters and focus on his rogues that haven't become good guys. Mirror Master could have the big bad of the entire season same could have been said about Grodd.

@kunyahk - They dont have a good motivation they are all thiefs, they only have left this Rogues alive: Tar Pit, Lisa Snart, Captain Cold, Heatwave, Triskter, Mark Mardon, Pied Piper, The Mist, Mirror Master and Top (who are going to be in episode 19-20).

But any of this villains is interesting enough, they work well for a single episode, or two, even for an Arc like they did in Season 1 where they did 4 episodes around the Rogues.

I dont think they could write 23 episodes around The Rogues, if they are having some troubles writing 23 episodes around Savitar who is a more interesting character than the Rogues, then i doubt it.

Because the problem here is that The Rogues does work for a comic book, but they are all thiefs, what you can do is make an entire season around filler episodes then.

Around how each Rogue escape jail or they reunite and then how they decide to form the Rogues and kill Barry. But again i doubt that would work for 23 episodes, for 9 episodes that would make sense, but for 23? I doubt it.

If you are a fan of the Flash, you know the Rogues dont work for TV, only for Comics and Movies, 120 minutes = 3 episodes of this show, 23 episodes = 966 minutes. I doubt it.

Abra Kadabra and The Shade were the only interesting enough Big Rogues they had left and they alredy use both in this season.

So they only have left: Daniel West, Hunter Zolomon original Story and that is...

You could add to the mix all the obscure and less known villains like: Spin, The Suit, Blacksmith, The Chunk, Kil%reg, but...

I say to you, stop the Speedster bullshit, the Flash is about Speedsters so let it happen.

I don't hate the show, but maybe season 1 and parts of 2 were so damn good, that something feels off right now.
