...and that's a series wrap on The Flash!
While series lead Grant Gustin has yet to issue a statement, his leading lady Candice Patton has confirmed that The Flash has wrapped filming on its series finale, sharing an emotional message on her Instagram Story yesterday, "about to shoot my last shot of The Flash, there are no words.."
Filming may have concluded on the thirteen-episode final season, but the series finale isn't slated to air until May 24, so there are still plenty of adventures to come before the Scarlet Speedster calls it a day.
With nine seasons and 184 episodes, The Flash will go down as the longest-running Arrowverse series, and second-longest-running DC TV series overall, behind only Smallville. Throughout its run, it quickly established itself as the most popular Arrowverse series, in terms of ratings, and was also the best-reviewed.
Recent rumors have pointed to the series finale potentially not being Gustin's final time in the cowl, but only time will tell whether there's any substance behind that one.
The main cast of The Flash season nine features Grant Gustin ("Barry Allen/The Flash"), Candice Patton ("Iris West-Allen"), Danielle Panabaker ("Dr. Caitlin Snow"), Danielle Nicolet ("Cecile Horton"), Kayla Compton ("Allegra Garcia"), Brandon McKnight ("Chester P. Runk"), and Jon Cor ("Mark Blaine/Chillblaine").
