As a late Christmas present for fans, The CW has announced that all five of its current DC TV shows, The Flash, Supergirl, Batwoman, Black Lightning and Legends of Tomorrow, have received new season renewals ahead of the conclusion of the Crises on Infinite Earths crossover event on January 14.

The only DC show that won't be back for another run is Arrow, which will air its series finale on January 28th.

Riverdale (Season 5), All American (Season 3), Charmed (Season 3), Legacies (Season 3), In the Dark (Season 3), Roswell, New Mexico (Season 3), Nancy Drew (Season 2) and Dynasty (Season 4) will also return.

Tell us, are you happy that all of these shows have been renewed for new seasons, or do you think some of them have run their course? Drop us a comment in the usual place.

Some part of me wishes Gotham was on the CW. Because then, the show would get an unlimited amount of seasons, and probably transfer into a proper Batman. show after S5.

Then I remember, it's the freakin CW, so I'm glad it wasn't on there.

@KWilly - Would love more Gotham, but it's style would be completely out of place in the arrowverse. At least we have Pennyworth

@KWilly - Gotham got five seasons. That's more than could be reasonably expected on Fox. But after two seasons, I found Gotham's particular style of zaniness tiring, while even if I get bored of the CW shows, I can come back after a few years and binge through what I've missed without much trouble. Different strokes for different folks, of course.

Great for CW, but it’s DCU that needs to step up. If CW can do this, WB and AT&T need to give some HBO money so DC’s DCU streaming service can have the smallest chance of competing.

Hell if their feeling generous, I’ve been saying for years, DC needs a studio like Marvel has their own

@MuadDib - Considering Green Lantern and possibly Blue Beetle are going to HBO, seems likely DC Universe will just be folded into it. If everything doesn't go to HBOMax Doom Patrol and Titans would probably go to HBO, Star Girl would go to CW. Young Justice and Harley Quinn would probably go to netflix or adult swim

@dracula - Green Lantern's not going to HBO, it's going to HBO Max. Not the same thing

@tmp3 - Don't know why they would call it HBO Max if it had nothing to do with HBO, but okay. As long as the show is good, who cares where it is

@dracula - HBO Max is run by different people than HBO

Really surprised that Supergirl and Legends have lasted this long. Legends especially seemed like a show that was aiming for 304 seasons. I guess that's the CW for ya.
