The Flash will return for more adventures this fall, and we’ve already seen one poster for the upcoming fifth season that provided us with the first official look at the hero’s new costume.

Now, thanks to E! News, fans have another poster to check out —
 which, unlike the previously released image, features other characters besides the Scarlet Speedster. Instead, the new image puts the focus on Barry Allen, Iris West, and Nora West-Allen.

While Barry is in his civilian guise on the new poster, we do get a great look at the costume Nora will don as the superhero XS, something we already saw thanks to recent set photos.

The Flash Season 5 will premiere on the CW network on October 9 and will see The Fast Man Alive face the villainous Cicada.

Did their graphic designer just up and quit this season?

Really surprised to see Jessica Parker Kennedy on the CW. Really liked her in Black Sails.

Off topic, but Marvel apparently has something big planned for Captain Marvel next month. Source is Grace Randolph (I know).

@BlindWedjat - She starred in another CW show that got cancelled after it's first season. I can't remember the name of it, but I gave it a shot when it aired.... She was one of many attractive women in the show, if you're wondering why it peaked my interest.

@BlindWedjat - Well this is more like a comeback to the CW actually. She first was 7 years ago on another show called The Secret Circle but it was canceled after one Season. Then she did Black Sails until last year.

I'll go look up that Captain Marvel thing now that you've mentioned it.

@Primordiac - thats based on the future article where iris was named west-allen. What im more curious about is why they gave that name to their daughter. I mean, iris did say that she didnt see herself as someone who would hyphen, implying she did it for name recognition for her reporting job only. So why give her business name to her daughter?

@Primordiac - It's always been West-Allen as far as I remember.

That photograph alone is so totally juvenile and undercuts all efforts to try and legitimize this super hero genre. So, is the Flash now a cheap Saturday morning kidde show? Has everyone in CC now gained super powers?? I guess the writers/ producers feel " if one hero is good, two must be better".
Every additional super they add to the show just strips away the uniqueness of Flash himself. When more than one hero has super powers, NO ONE does. Think about it. It just TOTALLY dilutes the concept of a super hero.
And I've said it before and I'll say it again: when dealing with anything DC, they'll ALWAYS shoot themselves in the foot.
Every time.
Damn Fools.
