First appearing during Supergirl's portion of the "Crisis on Earth-X" crossover, back in November; the identity of the Mystery Girl has amounted in countless theories and many different conclusions. The Flash's executive producer, Todd Helbing, recently weighed in on whether Arrowverse fans are on the right track.

As reported by TV Line, Todd Helbing said following a screening of tonight's episode of The Flash, "Run, Iris, Run," that while the many fan theories are amusing, no one has it completely figured out.

Every year, there are theories all over the place about what we're doing. Some of them get pretty close, some of them hit, like, one part of it but they don't get the other parts. I don't think anybody ever is going to guess exactly what it is.

Ever since her first appearance, fans immediately thought that the Mystery Girl, played by Jessica Parker Kennedy, has to have some kind of relationship with Barry and Iris based on her appearance and that she was awfully happy to see the couple tie the knot. She's been shown writing in the same mysterious symbols that Barry did when he was first free of his Speed Force prison. These clues have many fans thinking that she is either Barry and Iris' future daughter, Dawn Allen or even their granddaughter, Jenni Ognats.

Some fans have even theorized that there's a clue within Iris' speedster costume for "Run, Iris, Run." In tonight's episode, Iris temporarily gains speedster powers as well as her own outfit, one done in shades of purple with detailing similar Jenni's costume from the comics.

And that's only scratching the surface in terms of wild theories out there. Some even think she might be a gender-flipped version of Max Mercury or Daniel West, a Reverse Flash from the comics.
Who do you think The Flash's new Mystery Girl will end up being? What do you think of the conclusions other theories have come to?

Was her credit title Mystery Girl played by Jessica Parker Kennedy?

Probably said a few times now I haven’t watched this or Arrow in a long time. The relationship writing was off putting.

And for Supergirl she's listed as 'Caterer'

@Nebula - Interesting! Wonder if she’s a connection to these shows or a random stand-in (at least for the time being maybe)

I'm sure its either XS or Dawn Allen, and who ever it is will get Iris's suit, like how they made a suit of Trajectory, and used it for Jesse Quick

She's probably the girl Jay was hinting at in the last ep?
So she's from another Earth? Hmmm....

@Doomsday8888 - Then why would she be on Earth 1 and be so giddy about meeting Team Flash? She's clearly from the future, even her clothing says so.

@Nebula
Maybe she IS from the future, but of which Earth?
The Barry one, or the one where Jay is from?

:P

I don't see why they would introduce 2 different female speedsters.
Assuming she's a speedster of course.

Whoever she is, I hope she sticks around. Jessica Parker Kennedy is more engaging than half the regular cast. I would watch a series of just her and Ralph Dibny going on kooky adventures.

@Spock0Clock - If you haven't, I would strongly suggest you watched Black Sails. The writing, acting, characters, the story, locales… One of the best shows I've seen in the past 10 years, really. Quite riveting. And Jessica Kennedy in it is, well, great. When she's dressed.

She either uses Iris's costume or is inspired by it. It's gotta be Jenni Ognats

Joe’s future daughter? Or maybe, Joe’s future granddaughter ?

It must be Dawn but I hope the revealment delivers.

And she isn't the only one like Barry linked to the Speed Force symbols, DeVoe was as well 3 years ago when he got his powers. The bus metas' powers and the "enlightment" that he is after appear that will link back to those again.

Maybe she is Joe and Ceclie's daughter? It could make alot of sense.

Given the way the show usually works, she'll be Dawn Allen wearing Jenni's costume, inspired by the one Iris wore... and she's from a future timeline that Barry broke so now he and Iris have to do something to make sure Dawn's timeline still occurs.
