THE SANDMAN Stills Reveal First Look At Boyd Holbrook As The Corinthian & Jenna Coleman As Johanna Constantine

Ahead of today's full trailer, Netflix has released a batch of new promo stills for The Sandman, giving is a first look at several main characters, including the twisted killer known as The Corinthian.

The first full trailer for Netflix's adaptation of Neil Gaiman's The Sandman should be with us in just over an hour's time when Geeked Week gets underway, but for now, the streamer has shared a new batch of promo stills featuring first-looks at several main characters.

In addition to new shots of Morpheus (Tom Sturridge), Death (Kirby Howell-Baptiste), Lucienne (Vivienne Acheampong), and Desire (Mason Alexander Park), the images give us a first glimpse of David Thewlis as John Dee, aka the deranged Dr. Destiny, Jenna Coleman as John Constantine's great-great-great grandmother, Lady Johanna Constantine, Stephen Fry as the kindly Fiddler's Green, and Boyd Holbrook as sadistic escaped nightmare The Corinthian.

The 10-episode first season of The Sandman will adapt the first two arcs of the Vertigo comics series, "Preludes and Nocturnes" and "The Dolls House."

have no real feeling towards this, only remember seeing bits in comics when i was younger and had a slight intrigue towards it, il give the trailer a watch when it lands see if i get a feel for it, cant say netflix has really blown me away with anything recently.

Basically my favorite comic ever. Shame this looks so [frick]ing bland and cheap, these stills are trash. Costume design too, wtf… I’m just hoping the writing and acting is on point, the rest is forgivable.

Im not saying this show wont be good, because I feel like it probably will be pretty good. But its strange how the characters arent nearly as stylized as the comics.

Look im not a fan of her being black. Call me racist, but the pale skin helps her stand out. That aside. You could have at least attempted to make her [frick]ing goth, or something other then the MOST NORMAL [frick]ING CLOTHES YOU COULD GIVE HER.

@Superspecialawesomeguy - because shit like this cannot be transcripted exactly to tv, no matter how much nerdies cry out loud. These would look absolutely trash on motion, for example, and doesn't have a single "real world" appeal.
