DC Entertainment CCO Geoff Johns Teases Huge Plans For TEEN TITANS After TNT Passes On Pilot

When TNT announced last month that they had scrapped that Titans TV series, it appeared as if Nightwing and his fellow heroes had been put on the scrapheap. Well, it turns out that's not the case

When TNT confirmed that they wouldn't be moving forward with that Titans TV series, it appeared as if the project was dead, especially as there was no mention of another network stepping in to develop the show which looked set to revolve around Nightwing and his fellow young DC Comics superheroes.

However, when TV Line caught up with DC Entertainment CCO Geoff Johns at the Television Critics Assocation press tour last month, he revealed: "We [at DC] have known about [Turner nixing Titans] for months and months and months. That’s not new news to us. We have plans for Titans," Johns asserted. "It’s a huge piece of DC and we have plans."

Could those plans be a movie? It's certainly possible as rumours are pointing to that being the case (many fans believe the Cyborg movie is going to become Teen Titans), but we'll just have to wait and see. Either way, it's clear that we'll be seeing the team in live-action at some point in the near future.
