Armani Salado is a 22 year old American actor of Hispanic descent, known mostly for his role in the short movie Colors of Innocence from 2017.

So why is he the perfect choice for Titans' Blue Beetle? Apart from his Hispanic descent, Salado has years of martial arts experience, he is young, and he is incredibly talented. He recently signed with Abrams Artist Agency, the same agency representing Anna Diop and Ryan Potter, who will play the roles of Starfire and Beast Boy respectivly in the show, as well as Arrow's Prometheus and the kids from Netflix's hit show Stranger Things.

In a Twitter fan page a video of Salado performing a concept fight scene was recently posted, which you can see below. In it we see the actor playing the role of Jaime Reyes/Blue Beetle fighting two opponents. We even get to hear his voice, which undeniably sounds exactly like the voice actor who played the character in Cartoon Networks' Young Justice animated series.

Titans is scheduled to debut in 2018 in the yet unnamed Warner Bros.' streaming service. It will star Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Teagan Croft and Ryan Potter. The series is being developed by Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns and Greg Berlanti.
