GAME OF THRONES: Dany Comes Home In The First Season 7 Plot Synopsis; Plus New Photos From: "Dragonstone"

HBO issued the first three synopses for Game of Thrones season seven earlier today and while they aren't particularly spoiler-y, they do tease major events for Daenerys Targaryen & Jon Snow. Check it out!

The latest season of HBO's critically acclaimed fantasy drama Game of Thrones is nearly upon us and today, HBO has released the plot synopses for the first three installments of the highly anticipated seventh season.

In typical Thrones fashion, the episode descriptions aren't the least bit spoiler-y nor do they reveal any potentially earth-shattering moments, but they do provide us with a pretty good idea at things to come, namely with Daenerys and Jon Snow.

Looking at each synopsis individually, the first episode will see Daenerys and her forces arrive in Dragonstone, a former House Targaryen castle, and will likely take place early in the hour as Dany and company settle into their new residence. We may even see her fully grown dragons for the first time. Meanwhile, Cersei will put a new plan in motion and Jon Snow will continue to prepare his defenses.

The second episode looks to be another Dany-centric hour as the episode is named after her, although it could be a misdirect. We receive mention of an unexpected visitor, but it's hard to say who. Jon Snow is the obvious guess, but he seems to be busy with a revolt (that may or may not be led by his cousin Sansa and her partner-in-crime Littlefinger), which is surely unsettling. Other candidates include Jorah Mormont or Melisandre. Finally, Tyrion will add another great moment or two to his resume as plans Dany's conquest of Westeros.

The title of episode three refers to a Queen, but whether it means Daenerys or Cersei is hard to determine. Regardless, we'll see both queens engage in important events, however, it's Jamie Lannister who may steal the hour as he finally learns from his past mistakes. Could this be our first sign that Jamie, not Tyrion, is indeed the valonqar in Maggy the Frog's prophecy?

Check out all three plot synopses below:

Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne continues.

It stretches from the south, where heat breeds plots, lusts and intrigues, to the vast and savage eastern lands, where a young queen raises an army. All the while, in the frozen north, an 800-foot wall of ice precariously protects the war-ravaged kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men...all play the 'Game of Thrones.'

An original series based on George R.R. Martin's best-selling 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series.
