Horror has been making a strong comeback recently in the television format with shows like Stranger Things and American Horror Story.  It is always a pleasant surprise to see another Stephen King story in development, but this time it looks like it is going to be more than one!  The first mysterious trailer for Castle Rock has been released, a new anthology series set around Stephen King stories that will be premiering on Hulu. Hulu has also seen recent success with another Stephen King adaptation previously, 11.22.63, which starred James Franco. This new series will be produced by J.J Abrams and Bad Robot. It will be a limited series written by Manhattan creators Sam Shaw and Dusty Thomason.  The teaser name drops many famous stories like The Shining, It (Pennywise), Shawshank, Salem’s Lot, and much more.  Check out the first mysterious teaser below!

No word yet on when it will premiere on Hulu but expect to see it this year or early next year!

That's a cool idea. I always thought they should make a mini-series based on one of books of short stories, with an episode for each story, and the same cast members repeating in each one.
