AGATHA: COVEN OF CHAOS - Aubrey Plaza's Role Revealed As "One Of The Most Powerful Characters" In The MCU

The character Aubrey Plaza (Legion, Parks and Recreation) will play in Agatha: Coven of Chaos may have been revealed, and it's not someone who's been previously rumored!

Coming off some intriguing rumors relating to Aubrey Plaza's role in Agatha: Coven of Chaos, we may finally know which character the Legion alum will be playing in the upcoming WandaVision spin-off.

We've already heard that Plaza will be introduced as an ex of Agatha's, and scooper @CanWeGetToast believes she will actually be playing Rio Vidal!

Who?

As far as we can tell, Vidal will be an original character, though there's always a chance she could be at least partially based on someone from the comic books. Apparently, Rio will be the "first green witch," and may emerge as one of the most powerful characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

We don't know exactly how Vidal will factor into the story, but if Plaza is playing a villain, she'll have plenty of backup. Salem's Seven are also expected to make their debut in Coven of Chaos, with Okwui Okpokwasili (The Interpreter) leading the team (most likely as Vertigo).

Coven of Chaos will focus on powerful witch Agatha Harkness, who almost managed to defeat the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) in the season finale of WandaVision before being bested and trapped in Westview in her "nosy neighbour Agnes" persona.

Though Olsen is not expected to appear, there's speculation that Wanda might have something to do with Harkness' release and/or reformation following the events of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Jac Schaeffer, who is under a joint overall deal with Marvel and 20th Television, will serve as writer and executive producer and will also helm multiple episodes along with Gandja Monteiro (Wednesday; The Chi) and Rachel Goldberg (Cloak & Dagger; Mayans M.C.)

Green Witch?
I guess I missed this one in the comics.
I thought Polarlis was the closest thing to a Green Witch.

Oh yeah and Enchantress but then again Silvi might be the Enchantress of the MCU.

Yes, marvel. Up the power levels of all your female characters. That will make us love them. 🤣

@Kurban - Some have claimed this since Avengers:Endgame and many have been in denial.

@marvel72 - I don't know why anyone was ever in denial. Feige admitted this was his goal back in 2018.

@Kurban - That’s what I have been saying for years.

Not only is she the most powerful but G’iah from Secret Invasion is the most powerful of all characters.

@CorndogBurglar - Oh you haven’t been paying attention to the many on this site who would attack me here whenever I dared call it the MSheU

@TyrantBossMedia - Oh I've seen it. I've been called a misogynist, an incel, and blah blah blah. I just don't know how people can say the M-SHE-U wasn't a thing when Feige himself said it was his goal lol.

@CorndogBurglar - Sorry, you see the producer saying "We're going to introduce more female lead characters, instead of having like three for the last decade" as some sort of sinister feminist agenda?

@CorndogBurglar - Just like Disney admitting they had a “gay agenda” on their own words and many here are still deniers.

@TyrantBossMedia - No one seemed to be complaining that it was the MHeU for the first 10 years. That says a lot about the people complaining.

TyrantBossMedia - 8/4/2023, 11:49 AM
@nhoj3 -No one had to complain because there we both strong male and female characters.

But when you replace all of the male characters with females and emasculate the males in order to empower the females then you damage the brand and it becomes the MSheU.

Women don't need men to be made weaker in order for them to be strong.
Those of you who support this .....well it says a LOT about you.
I guess you feel that women can't be strong any other way.

@Ryguy88 - Rumour that Sue Richards will be the leader of the Fantastic Four.

Another powerful woman

I bet Stom is the leader of The X-Men and most powerful,I know she was in the comics but it would be nice to see Cyclops as the leader first.
